I often find The Story to be dull and/or inane. However, I usually take in a fair bit of it because there's nothing better to listen to.

I will say that it often broadens my perspective, regardless of whether I am entertained.

Thats like saying a station has a conservative bias if it features football scores or Nascar. This stuff is incidental to politics.

I agree, but some consider subject matter and/or quantity thereof as their metric for whether something is liberal or conservative. Feel free to subtract that from the percentage. I am interested to see if someone can justifiably push it over 50%.

Human interest stories are liberal propaganda.

Today he was talking to a guy who, when he was a kid, stole a skull and some bones from a graveyard and took them to school for show and tell. Granted, I didn't hear the whole show today, but that seems pretty conservative to me

how about that great bit of unbiased programming this morning? Don't remember the show, but they were talking about W's memoir, and the host said it should have been called "8 Lost Years" or "Bad Decision Points". I mean, shit, dude, not even Terri Gross is that blatant

You clearly haven't listened to the Diane Rehm show.

I'll admit, I am usually asleep by then. I usually only catch the Friday News Roundup which is about current events. This morning they had a chick on talking about Cleopatra. My analysis was and still is totally open for discussion.

Rehm herself is very liberal and will take liberal positions on her talk show. That said, she doesn't distort the truth or silence opposing opinions, plus the majority of the show's content is non-political.

Diane Rehm has a voice for print. The last time i listened to it they had some democratic party stooge come on and spout talking points at every caller.

i mean yea they never cut off a caller and they dont seem to pick specific callers, but if its a question they dont like it'll just get non-answered by whoever the guest is.

imagine that, aaronburro making a thread that wasn't needed because there were other recent threads discussing the very same topic!

^4 At least she rarely talks over her guests.
