11/22/2010 8:46:35 PM
PackGuitar, you really believe Ohio State is going to lose?
11/22/2010 8:49:04 PM
yes, i believe michigan will win
11/22/2010 9:01:02 PM
Michigan's D is just too horrible to beat OSU this year. Maybe Pryor will get hurt or something Dammit100: UM had solid wins vs Illinois & Purdue .... just because UM can't beat the top 4 teams in the conference doesn't mean they're a failure. BOWL GAME ! 5 losses won't fly next year though, so RR better improve further.GO BLUE, BEAT THE BUCKS !1 [Edited on November 22, 2010 at 9:31 PM. Reason : k]

12/1/2010 10:46:06 AM
Yes. It was only a few months ago.
12/1/2010 10:48:09 AM
I STILL THINK HE SHOULD WIN IT,kidding.. fire richrod
12/1/2010 11:49:35 AM
Disgusting. On the other hand, a close loss might not have been enough. This is sure to do the trick.Hit the bricks, RR. You're going out.
1/1/2011 4:15:48 PM
Michigan fans seem to think its a given now that he is gone... is it that bad? not one more year?
1/1/2011 4:22:22 PM
plz to hire Harbaugh so Luck's decision is that much easier
1/1/2011 4:24:35 PM
Think so. This was the "one more year." And arguably, so was last year.
1/1/2011 4:26:37 PM
I agree with Corso on this one, if Harbaugh wants the job (and doesnt stay in Stanford or accept the 49ers HC position) then they have to give it to him. If not, they need to stick with RichRod.I am still worried that the fans wont be happy with Harbaugh since it will take him 3-4 years to get his players in place. His style of offense is the total opposite of RichRod's. RR has gone from 3 wins, to 5 wins, to 7 wins, so he's moving in the right direction, he just has to prove that he can develop talent and fix their awful defense. I dont think the defensive coaches need to be changed either, they just have to develop the talented recruits that they have in houseDesmond Howard made a great point earlier today, 4 years ago when Lloyd Carr was let go Les Miles was the big name Michigan went after but got away. Now its the same situation with Harbaugh being the new big name coaching prospect. If he gets away I dont think they need to settle for someone else just to shake things up[Edited on January 1, 2011 at 4:30 PM. Reason : zcxv]

I still think you have to give a coach at least 4 years unless it was a very weak hire to begin with (john bunting, sidney lowe, randy shannon like) or it was clear the coach was vastly overrated to begin with (think ty willingham), then again I'm not a michigan fan[Edited on January 1, 2011 at 7:04 PM. 1/1/2011 7:03:32 PM
it IS that bad... scrap richrod... he cannot fix this defense. this 3-3-5 scheme does not work in the big ten, nor work at all in my opinion, without extremely caliber athletes,,, ones he is not getting on defense. he needs speed and size... like alabama hasharbaugh please. it wont take him that long. he does not have the best talent on his team this year but they are achieving game in and game out... harbaugh at his alma mater, especially one named michigan would have to be successful. or at least not a pain to watch the defense not able to force a punt
1/2/2011 4:49:53 PM
rich rod back to clemson as OC. harbaugh and luck to panthers.
1/2/2011 5:29:21 PM
like he'd ever work for that clown of a coach dabo sweeney
1/2/2011 5:34:35 PM
how good is Stanford's defense?and Stanford's offense is composed of players Harbaugh recruited to play in his style of offense. Youre acting like Harbaugh is Vince Lombardi and is not capable of failure. He's a good coach, yes, but he's not some coaching god who can win with whichever players you put in front of him
1/2/2011 6:08:19 PM
See ya, DickRod!
1/4/2011 3:00:50 PM
Les Miles is going to pull a Roy
1/4/2011 3:08:26 PM
I think les miles has been exposed for being a horrible game coach. I predict harbaugh to michigan. I know i'm really going out on a limb there.
1/4/2011 3:14:19 PM
Harbaugh to Michigan would be great but there are too many NFL teams interested in him.
1/4/2011 3:16:48 PM
maybe i'm just a pussy, but i'd much rather be at michigan than the nfl.he's an alum who just did a great job at stanford and michigan is coming off some very disappointing seasons, so he'll get a lot longer to generate results than he would even at other colleges, way way longer than he would in the nfl.and once you get going at a place like michigan, you can do it for 30 years straight. you can do a great job in the nfl and have a down year just b/c the league is designed to work that way, and you're out. and he'll get paid a ton at michigan.no brainer IMO. the only downside is that you have to kiss 18 year olds' asses.
1/4/2011 3:19:56 PM
If Harbaugh passes & they don't want Miles, I can see Bud Foster or Chuck Heater getting the chance
1/4/2011 3:22:15 PM
did they fire Rod?
1/4/2011 3:23:58 PM
i want him in the NFL because i think he could provide Coors Light [the Official Beer of The White Warriors] with some good press conference material.

1/4/2011 3:27:42 PM
i don't have a problem w/ people just b/c they went to unc. i just don't want to hear what you have to say about sports most of the time.although maybe that's not fair of me to say, b/c i know i've specifically asked you questions about unc on multiple occasions. so i'm sorry i said that earlier. i think i was mostly annoyed that you think i'm too insecure to talk to someone from a liberal arts machine.
1/4/2011 3:31:56 PM
haha:"liberal arts machine"does not compute
1/4/2011 3:39:41 PM
i wasn't talking to anyone in particular, just making a point. i personally think it's ridiculous to write someone off just because they went to a school you don't like. i think after 8 years it's pretty obvious i'm not trying to troll. but whatever, no harm no foul
1/4/2011 3:40:25 PM
oh i know you're not trolling. truthfully i don't even mind trolling.i just meant that i don't want to hear about things from a unc point of view, even if it's relatively objective. but like i said, i've thought about it and i take that back, b/c sometimes i have legitimate questions and insidecarolina won't let me post, much less answer my queries.lol michigan football thread.

Richer Poorer Rodriguez
1/5/2011 12:17:26 PM
i thought he gets 2.5 millions to not coach. How is that poorer?
1/5/2011 2:09:56 PM
so much for Harbaugh being a "michigan man". At least he went to the nfl, if he wouldve stayed at Stanford it wouldve been a slap to the face of Michigan (although they still kinda got it since he said Stanford and SF were the only two teams he was interested in)onwards to plan B, I still think they shouldve kept RichRod until Harbaugh made his decision
1/7/2011 4:04:50 PM
