damn steviewonder is still 10-0 ... he's finally gonna be wrong with GTown though[Edited on March 18, 2010 at 9:34 PM. Reason : 10 not 9]
3/18/2010 9:30:54 PM
Tied for first with 3 others... gotta feeling Texas will lose tonight, not sure why I picked them to win
3/18/2010 10:14:44 PM
yeah, i'm in 1st right now, but having GTown and ND in my elite 8 will fuck me soon.
3/19/2010 12:15:46 AM
Still on topI'm going wire to wire
3/19/2010 12:16:51 AM

3/19/2010 12:39:16 AM

3/19/2010 12:44:18 AM
DEF. went in the wrong threadhell yea, Tree, we up to 86th![Edited on March 19, 2010 at 12:51 AM. Reason : ]
3/19/2010 12:48:59 AM
18th...with 50 people
3/19/2010 12:54:54 AM
good news: 14/16 today bad news: the 2 games I got wrong were elite 8 teams
3/19/2010 12:56:20 AM
3/19/2010 1:03:48 AM
sportscenter says that over 4.7 million entered and only 56 perfect left after first day...
3/19/2010 8:54:09 AM
^ That makes no sense. The ESPN thing said just 2.6% of voters picked Ohio over Georgetown. Maybe I'm bad at math...
3/19/2010 9:14:58 AM
that's just one game, but they said 56 people's brackets were still perfect overall
3/19/2010 9:49:17 AM
You have a 1:2,147,483,648 shot at perfection (after the first round), just by blindly guessing. You would win the Powerball ten times before guessing the first round perfectly. If a 1-seed always beats a 16-seed, then that probability drops to 1:134,217,728 (and you would win the Powerball once).
3/19/2010 11:19:22 AM
^ however, you have to take into account the probabilty of certain teams beating others. A 2-15 is not a blind guess. That thought is only if it were a coin flip, which it isn't. The math is way more complicated than it seems. You'd have to dig up seeding stats and then figure out the probabilty.
3/19/2010 11:24:27 AM
a 16 has never beaten a 1i think a 15 has only beaten a 2 like 4-5 timesanything from 5-12, 6-11, 7-10 and 8-9 is definitely a coin flipdunno about the trends with 3-14 and 4-13 games
3/19/2010 11:27:56 AM
^^ Ceteris paribus blahblah blah blah.
3/19/2010 11:30:15 AM
Haha, my bracket was shredded yesterday. It's a good thing most of the rest of your picks were also crap. GO OLD DOMINION!!!
3/19/2010 11:48:32 AM
Need the outcomes to remain the way they are and I'll pick up another 3 wins
3/19/2010 1:59:36 PM
I'll be 2/3 if that happens, but I have Temple losing next round to Wisconsin
3/19/2010 2:07:59 PM
i, too, need the games to remain at their current scores
3/19/2010 2:10:21 PM
Good lord half the people with perfect brackets on ESPN.com are fucking morons. One had NIU in the final 4, another with Utah State in the final 4, one with Michigan State in the title game.
3/19/2010 2:39:11 PM
GG TREE, jumped up to 84thi, however, am 69ing the place
3/19/2010 2:40:09 PM
^^ You don't get games like the Georgetown-Ohio result without having some fucked up picks in there...^ ha, I'm now tied with Twista[Edited on March 19, 2010 at 2:41 PM. Reason : x]
3/19/2010 2:41:37 PM
this Sienna game is gonna be make or break for me
3/19/2010 2:42:25 PM
A Siena win and a Mizzou win would launch my score up to 120 and I might eventually even sneak on Page 1 of the standings
3/19/2010 2:45:06 PM
Sitting pretty alone in 1st, I picked Siena in the sweet sixteen though
3/19/2010 2:47:27 PM
Oh snap MrLuvaLuva85, I thought you said 56 "PERCENT" up there, not 56 PERFECT.just 56 overall makes total sense
3/19/2010 3:44:19 PM
so I picked Minnesota to upset Xavier and then I didnt drink the Cornell koolaid and picked them to lose. Rough start to the day, I still think I'm going to start slow and finish strong this weekend since I have 15 out of my sweet 16 teams left
3/19/2010 4:14:32 PM
AH FUCK all this time i thought i picked Missouri and i picked Clemson ... doesn't sound like something I would do >.<
3/19/2010 5:10:56 PM
chillin' in 2nd. 1st place has Vandy in the final 4, so he'll slip as this moves along.
3/19/2010 5:16:31 PM
lol @ drunkntarded in tww group
3/19/2010 5:19:25 PM
me and NyM are gonna be dukin it out for DFLalso only 2 remaining undefeated brackets on ESPN]
3/19/2010 5:42:03 PM
looks like the last two perfect brackets could fall if utah state looses
3/19/2010 6:28:38 PM
Two perfect brackets this far is pretty incredible. Out of five million or so entries, only two people...crazy. oh and also:Oh snap. I'm in sole possession of first place in the TWW group. Sadly it will not last long as I picked Vanderbilt into the Final Four in a moment of complete retardation. [Edited on March 19, 2010 at 6:36 PM. Reason : 5500]
3/19/2010 6:34:27 PM
somehow I went from being 67th last time I checked to 15th now... must have had a good run or something
3/19/2010 7:12:46 PM
one of the dudes with a perfect bracket picked Vermont over Syracuse.
3/19/2010 7:19:58 PM
And that's the sound of me going 0-4 on the 8-9 games.
3/19/2010 10:36:11 PM
I got lucky with Northern Iowaassuming Cal wins, I go 1-3 in 8/9 games woot
3/19/2010 10:37:39 PM
