Hodge would be in my top 3 favorite NCSU athletes.BeckCostnerGrant (solely for that dumb ass 4 loss comment)FergusonPick any DB from our 2009 team

Least favorites:Costner and Jose Laureanu, or however the hell you spell his name. Especially Costner.Favorites:Marcus Melvin and Jericho Cotchery. Love those dudes. And Hodge of course.

Javi?
11/1/2013 9:27:33 AM
Derek "too fast" Morris is up there
11/1/2013 9:30:27 AM
Why Ferguson?
11/1/2013 9:34:23 AM
11/1/2013 9:39:05 AM
I don't have anything against Ferguson. I know he wasn't good, but he never really fucked up or cost us any games. He just wasn't as good as we thought he might be. For favorites, besides obvious guys like Rivers and Hodge, I really liked Andre Brown, Manny Lawson, Andre Maddox, Taylor Gentry, Scooter Sherrill, Cam Bennerman...off the top of my head.
11/1/2013 9:42:38 AM
11/1/2013 9:48:41 AM
why do you idiots keep bringing javi up? there was nothing hate-worthy about that dude.
11/1/2013 9:50:57 AM
Javi was frustrating as shit at times...but I liked him. Hell, he pretty much won that game vs Duke for us.
11/1/2013 11:05:39 AM
he was forced into a role that he shouldn't have been, and he always gave it his all
11/1/2013 11:10:14 AM
Harrison Beck is all of my top 5.

Julius Mays.
11/1/2013 11:32:02 AM
why? i completely understand why he transferred.
11/1/2013 11:35:48 AM
because he looks like Nelly
11/1/2013 11:37:30 AM
The dude often times just steam up the court like its no body business and attack the paint just to get deny. Here's a visual aid. **Visual aid does not fully depicts the accuracy of Julius Mays race. Please consult with your doctor. [Edited on November 1, 2013 at 11:55 AM. Reason : disclaimer ]

True story, I once drank penny pitchers at PB's ("club") with Trevor Ferguson.
11/1/2013 12:35:03 PM
Marques Johnson...although "hate" is a strong word. He was frustrating as hell just bringing the ball up the damn court.
11/1/2013 12:58:37 PM

Na, you are wrong bro. Take off your red tinted glasses. If you don't know Reggie White, Foster and Witten then you need to learn more about football. Oh, and everyone was mentioning non current players, so no idea what you meant with that...[Edited on November 1, 2013 at 3:47 PM. Reason : D]

Hate it a real strong word, I don't hate any of these guys, they just frustrated the hell out of me when they played:-- Evtimov-- Adam Kiker-- Greg Golden-- JJ Hickson
11/1/2013 3:53:31 PM
Evtimov? Why? I always thought he was kinda a fan favorite. And if we're talking football, Tennessee is definitely more relevant and has had bigger names than NC State. [Edited on November 1, 2013 at 3:59 PM. Reason : Hhh]
11/1/2013 3:58:44 PM
Why was JJ Hickson frustrating? He led the team in basically everything.
11/1/2013 4:14:41 PM
Evtimov got wrecked defensively. He always matched up against a PF/C and was an awful rebounder. What he did offensively never made up for the liability he was defensively. It always bothered me that Herb played Evtimov over Powell in his lone season at NCSU. Powell was a true center who could rebound and (somewhat) play defense. Sure he couldn't pass or shoot like Evtimov but he was a better finisher around the rim and he had much more quickness and athleticism.Hickson I didn't like mostly because of how Sid played him. McCauley's playing time diminished and he was rarely seen on the court with Hickson and Costner. Before you call me out for suggesting a lineup with 3 bigs, you have to remember how painful that season was. It was time to try something new to get the team going, but Sid always stuck with with his lineups that included McCauley on the bench. I believe it wasn't until the ACC tournament that we finally saw the three of them on the court together.
11/1/2013 4:26:20 PM
well, he did lead the team in field goal percentage
11/1/2013 4:29:08 PM
He also led the team in turnovers

when I think of "true center" I don't think of a 6'8" guy who relied on a 10 foot jumper
11/1/2013 5:39:16 PM
shit, for some reason I was picturing Evtimov as a smaller guy, part time PG... who am I thinking of? Played for State, European white guy that brought the ball up the court a lot. Could swear it was Evtimov

my most hated UT basketball player was Chris Lofton
11/1/2013 5:47:09 PM
I had no clue Witten went to UT. I did know Foster did but only because UT fans I know always acted like he was a stud there when he broke out in Houston.
11/1/2013 6:06:14 PM
^^^^ yes!^^^ just showing your ignorance... He was the second all time leading rusher in the history of the school. So yeah, he more than "barely played". Thread won. Move on, but you won't because you are roffle long. Also your dad must not pay attention, they mention it all the time. ^ riiiight. Just arguing now, either that or you need to watch more football or have a catscan. They just mention it before every game. You and ^^^ his dad are weird. Most people if they saw a really really good player (like HOF level) and didn't know where he was from would be interested in finding out. "Wow, this Jerry Rice guy is good, I wonder where he went to college."[Edited on November 1, 2013 at 6:36 PM. Reason : D]

Russell Wilson is our third leading passer in yardage behind Rivers and Barnette and people still don't know he went to NCSU so how exactly did you "win" this thread?
11/1/2013 6:39:31 PM
Look guys, I love State. But Jaybee is right. Tennessee has more recognizable former athletes than we do. Recently, State has had some good NFL players...Rivers, Holt, Mario, Russell Wilson. But overall, I think the average football fan could name more Tennessee players than State players.

having fun big weirdo? i mean, who cares if you're right, why do you enjoy posting inflammatory comments and then trying to "win" arguments? (look at your post that started this)anyways, right now we're the only college to produce three starting NFL QBs. QB U!

I bet most non Tennessee fans can name more women's bball players than football and men's bball combined
11/1/2013 8:15:37 PM
1. Tyler Bray - knucklehead wigger moron who embarrasses our school every time he gets the chance2. Dale Ellis - used to love this sharpshooter, until he started beating the shit out of his wife and driving drunk more than...3. Donte Stallworth - likes to murder people with his car, what a stupid fucke...and for a first round pick, this guy has been cut more than an emo kid with a razor bladeT4. Nu'Keese Richardson/Janzen Jackson/Mike Edwards - these guys had a free ride to the greatest football program in the land, and blew it by playing wannabe gangster stickup kids...cost us a few SEC titles5. Cameron Clear - this kid was gonna be the next Shannon Sharpe until he decided to start robbing other students...cost us at least 2 natty's

Speaking of murdering people with cars didn't Leonard Little also go to UT. They are the manaughter capital of the college football world.
