With proper mirror usage and driving capability one can easily back a car into a spot properly faster than some jamokes can pull in strait and its safer pulling out. That said if it takes more than a few seconds you should do the world a favor and 1. Brush up on your skill. 2. Just pull in and save us all the time of having to wait behind you. Same goes for parallel parking. I can parallel in less time than I've seen people take the time to stop unnecessarily for a right hand turn. If you can't parallel find a deck and walk.

Me? I'm calm. Just saying backing in shouldn't be a nuisance to others when done correctly in response to op's question of why people do it. If you can't do it efficiently, just like anything, you should find other ways. Not sure why this came across as anything but a calm rational thought.

How do you propose people get better at parallel parking if not by actually parallel parking because it slightly inconveniences you?

I backed into a space today. But that is because I was parked at an elementary school and knew I would be leaving during pick up time so it's safer for me to pull out of a space than back out of a space when there could be children walking or other cars coming in too hot.

Find a quiet reaidential backstreet or parking lot. Spend a few minutes getting the hang of it. I dont know rush hour on fayeteville street seems like it would be just as frustrating for the person that tries five times to get it parked before speeding off than the line of ten cars backed up behind them. Just a thought. I dont generally get mad per say. Just shake my head and laugh.

With all the new cars and 360 cameras, it's getting easier and much faster to back in to a spot.

Thanks for contributing to the community. Ill not hate on you while you try five times to get your coexist stickered bumper in a spot before giving up. Ill forgive your ignorance.

It could probably hold 3 or 4 cars.

This strap is good for 12,400 lbs: https://www.mcmaster.com/3468t131

This hook is good for 22,600 lbs: https://www.mcmaster.com/3682t93

I park at a corner so I only have one car that could potentially ding me.

I used to drive a Tacoma and backing in was the faster and easier option

Same when I drove a work van

Neither vehicle had backup cameras
