it was probably the refs trying to make the higher market team win, like donagy says.. or whatever
10/30/2009 10:41:05 PM
i figured the refs mostly betted over/unders which they'd have more control over...the line was Bobcats -2.5 but I'm not sure the O/U
10/30/2009 10:42:13 PM
That was fucking patheticWe have zero players who can create their own shot...ZEROFelton does the same goddamn thing he's been doing for five yearsDribble the ball and just stand there like a mongloid while none of his teammates even moveStephen Graham is the one who made the biggest shot of the game for us...STEPHEN GRAHAMNice job Larry you dumb bastard of not subbing at all for the end of regulation and both overtimesIt made perfect sense to leaven Radmonavic in there hitting nothing but air and bricks all night longChandler is a huge cunt with worse hands than Okafor, which I didn't think was possibleNice job of charging thirteen dollars for a FUCKING PRETZEL bobcats management, thats sure to be a hot sellerNice shirt Paul SilasSteve Javie told one of our assisstants to shut the fuck upDiop looks like Bokeem WoodbineHave fun getting raped by Cleveland tomorrow with no lube and no condomThis team will be lucky to win 30 games
10/30/2009 11:46:22 PM
flip murray can create his own shot.unfortunately he's out.
10/31/2009 12:06:58 AM
^^ then take wall, and be a huge success. oh wait, i forgot the NBA has the lottery, so we probably wouldn't get that pick..
10/31/2009 12:21:02 AM
Flip Murray ?You think he's the answer to our offensive struggles ?Go Fuck yourself
10/31/2009 3:11:51 AM
Flip Murray can light it up, but if he's a factor on our team. It is bad. Nobody on our team can finish round the cup. I sid that watching us last year. and sure enough I looked it up and our team was blocked more than any other. You need athleticism nd we don't have it. Wallace is the losest, but he shoud be third best player on a good team not end all be all.
10/31/2009 10:33:34 AM
^^^^^damn who pissed in your free bud light, grilled chicken wings and steak soft tacos in the back court bar?]
10/31/2009 12:27:08 PM
you did Tommy, you took the jam out'a my doughnut
10/31/2009 12:29:06 PM
i didnt say he was the answer to our problems. you said we had no one that could create our own shot, and i said we did have 1 guy. i never once indicated he was our savior on offense.
10/31/2009 3:31:33 PM
this team turns the ball over like every other possession
11/1/2009 12:17:15 AM
just shot 8 for 42 in the first halfbravo
11/2/2009 8:31:22 PM
Bobcats are fucking horrible
11/2/2009 8:32:47 PM
the Nets, the friggin Nets are making us look like this!
11/2/2009 8:37:17 PM
i just turned it on expecting to be down 20 in the 3rdactually up by 1? how bad are the nets
11/2/2009 8:51:46 PM
First team to 70 winsif anyone makes it that far
11/2/2009 8:56:18 PM
this is better, but I still dont feel like I'm watching an NBA game
11/2/2009 9:04:13 PM

11/2/2009 9:27:05 PM
back to .500
11/2/2009 9:29:42 PM
Wallace with 24 points and 20 rebounds. Wow.
11/3/2009 10:23:41 AM
Told you people were overreacting. We are going to be one of the best defensive teams in the league which automatically gives us a chance to compete nightly.Obviously we need to get better on offense and probably become more uptempo because we aren't built for halfcourt
11/3/2009 1:08:03 PM
Tough to watchWe're going to have to win some late 90's Heat/Knicks style 71-66 games this year
11/3/2009 1:10:57 PM
they've beaten a 1-3 and an 0-4 teamim not quite at "everything will be alright with this team" just yet
11/3/2009 1:20:18 PM
IMO, they've got to get DJ on the court more. I like Felton, but he doesn't have Augustin's potential on the offensive end.
11/3/2009 1:59:40 PM
Averaging only 79.8 pts a game, which is the lowest in the NBA. Then we go and put up 61 in the first have against the Hawks. Playing well so far, 61-48 at the half.
11/6/2009 8:15:05 PM
Good win tonight 103-83. Now 3-2 on the season.Gerald Wallace 11 pts 18 reb 2ast 1 stl 1 blkBoris Diaw 10 pts 9 reb 4 astTyson Chandler 10 pts 10 reb 4 blkRaja Bell 24 pts 4 astRaymond Felton 7 pts 7 ast 3 rebFlip Murray 15 pts 6 rebDJ Augustin 11 pts 3 reb 3 ast
11/6/2009 9:26:43 PM
from the stats on sportsline, looks like the difference was charlotte made more than half of their 3s and the hawks were like 2-18 or so
11/6/2009 9:35:14 PM
I could be wrong, but is this the first time in team history they've had a winning record?
11/7/2009 1:54:43 PM
You are wrong
11/7/2009 1:56:40 PM
It might be the first time they've been over .500 at least 5 games into the season
11/7/2009 3:48:00 PM
Told you we had our best roster yet... rumor has it we're trying to land Stephen Jackson... they wont bite on Nazr or Radmanovic though and want Diaw... supposedly we offered diaw for jackson and turiaf...
11/7/2009 7:50:57 PM
blew the lead at the end of the third then started playing sloppy... and felton still can't shoot. surprised how long the starters played. guess Larry Brown doesn't trust his bench at all
11/7/2009 10:15:42 PM
Well the refs let the Bulls go on a tear at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th. The announcers wouldn't shut up about us "falling in love with jump shots" but we were hitting them all night and we weren't getting the calls when we took it to the basket.Noah is just an animal. If Rose develops into a stud that team's nucleus is pretty nice.Anyway, we look like a very competitive team so far. We almost stole a road win on a back to back.Felton just isn't going to get there I guess. He's a huge liability at the end of the game because he simply can't hit the shots they give him. He wasn't even close last night. He's a terrific backup but he's a supermarginal starter at this level because he can't finish games. Our defense looks awesome, we were stealing passes left and right.
11/8/2009 10:27:42 AM
Classic fan conundrum:Going to see Orlando and Vince isn't playing...as a fan, you want the Bobcats to have a better chance of winning, but you also want to see the best players playBut fuck it, Vince (and Rashard Lewis) aren't must see guys anymore...and Howard will rape Chandler regardlessoh and
11/10/2009 9:40:13 AM
i'll be there tonight to see the jail blazers
11/14/2009 4:28:57 PM
30 pts at the halfgg
11/14/2009 8:08:50 PM
Welp we found a 2 guard that can score. Head case or not he can score. Bobcats get:Stephen JacksonAcie LawWarriors get:Raja BellVlad RadmanovicI like it.http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4659552[Edited on November 16, 2009 at 11:12 AM. Reason : link]
11/16/2009 11:11:48 AM
and we keep Boris ?I love that dealEven tho he's a headcase, Jackson can produce offenseHe has three years left on his deal, but we're cap-fucked for the next three years anyway, so its not going to matter
11/16/2009 11:17:48 AM
Shit. I hate Stephen Jackson. I understand the need, and I think the Bobcats are again winners here ... but damn.[Edited on November 16, 2009 at 11:45 AM. Reason : ]
11/16/2009 11:45:30 AM
Steven Jackson is the man. Just don't throw your beer on one of his teammates and he PROBABLY won't come into the stands after you.
11/16/2009 11:48:48 AM
Great trade we get badly needed scoring without giving up much on defense since jackson is good on both ends. He's also a creator and played a lot of pg last year. This leads me to believe we may shop ray if we don't catch on fire with this lineup. From a contract standpoint jackson isn't really overpaid and we get rid of radmans bad deal. Most importantly we get a no. 1 option at the end of games so we can stop playing flip murray.Great deal
11/16/2009 12:03:08 PM
Just to be clear tho, Jackson is not a good shooter...he only put up good numbers in Oakland because it was a volume offenseI would hope he takes less three's and long two's and instead we run the offense thru him and Boris, two of the best passing non-point guards in the leagueThis makes the PG position more about shooting and less about passing, so hopefully more DJ and less Felton
11/16/2009 12:11:36 PM
He's a top 50 player in the league. It never hurts to add one of those.
11/16/2009 12:25:15 PM
thats debatable
11/16/2009 12:27:14 PM
11/16/2009 12:28:03 PM
He plays on the fastest paced team in the leaguePer-game numbers are a useless comparison in his casePer-possession and efficiency numbers tell a much different tale
11/16/2009 12:30:13 PM
Name 50 players in the NBA who are better than him this seasonor don't...i say he's a top-50 player...although he's in the 41-50 range
