^ and i appreciate the response[Edited on October 4, 2009 at 1:42 PM. Reason : three pages of precognition]

revealing anything that was in the book in a thread about the tv show is a potential spoiler, especially to the people who watch the tv show and didn't read the book. Even if it is saying "x didn't happen in the book", debunking a theory, or bringing a possible theory from the book is a spoiler because the show is based on the book and even if you reveal that the book is nothing like the show you are still spoiling that fact.[Edited on October 4, 2009 at 2:37 PM. Reason : if im expecting the book to happen and u tell me it doesn't. the shows partially spoiled as well]
10/4/2009 2:36:58 PM
thats it im not watching the show, it has been spoiled jk
10/4/2009 3:09:02 PM
unless you know the plot of the book already, nothing's been spoiled.
10/4/2009 9:05:12 PM
I've read the book too. I could tell you the entire plot and it really wouldn't qualify as spoilers because they're not even close to the same story. The only thing that's the same is the event, and one character's name (but he's not even close to the same character.)They even had a bit of a shoutout to the reason behind the book's event in the 2nd episode of the show, and I pretty much so took that as confirmation that they would not be using that as the reason behind the event on the show. I'm probably one of the most adamant non-spoiler people you will ever meet and even I think it's ridiculous to be whining about the book being spoilers. It's really not.
10/4/2009 9:12:38 PM
well you can't grasp the fact that ruling out a possible plot (saying the book doesn't happen) is somewhat still a spoiler
10/4/2009 9:16:14 PM
I can't figure out if you're trolling or just spectacularly retarded. Either way, piss off.
10/4/2009 9:17:19 PM
Well if you dont know the plot of the book it doesnt matterbut if you do then knowing it doesnt follow the book is a small spoiler but it still leaves the possibilities wide open
10/4/2009 9:29:43 PM
10/5/2009 5:16:49 PM
SHITthe whole show is ruined for me now.
10/5/2009 6:37:22 PM
let's get back to talking about the show already!
10/5/2009 8:45:09 PM
^I can't, it's been spoiled
10/6/2009 9:18:19 AM
what do you want to talk about? I still think Lloyd Simcoe is somehow involved.
10/6/2009 9:22:21 AM
10/6/2009 11:23:24 AM
^Wait so now you are saying that the flash forwards are caused by some kind of all knowing cloud? THANKS FOR THE SPOILER TAG, ASSHOLE!
10/6/2009 11:39:12 AM
But the post she made, the first post of the thread, was definitely a spoiler, tho you can't blame her because that was before the show even started, and no one hear remembers that first post, so if you don't wanna know, don't lookI looked, and it actually makes me more curious to see how it unfolds
10/6/2009 11:44:22 AM
i have a hard time believing they will go that route
10/6/2009 11:48:10 AM
i very seriously doubt they will take the same route at the book. and i think the similarities will end before season 1 even finishes. especially since the cause in the book will be making the news next month. i think it would freak people out so they avoided it or they just came up with something better.
10/7/2009 2:30:45 PM
+1 MSpaint skillz.
10/7/2009 3:05:47 PM
i think the book spoilers are really appropriate for this thread and this showcause thinking you know what happens but not being sure will help us know how what the characters are going through
10/7/2009 4:15:31 PM
nevertheless, any type of spoiler should be labeled as such regardless if it spoils the entire ending or only partially spoils some aspect of the show.it would be nice to talk about the show but theres not a whole lot to talk about as the last episode didn't have a serious cliffhanger. I'm not in love with the show at the moment but still hold a desire to watch it out of curiosity. I expect it will get much better.
10/7/2009 5:15:31 PM
yes, there is lots of talk a/b spoilers...I haven't read the book, but I'm down with watchin' the show.
10/7/2009 6:48:20 PM
Nothing I've seen in this thread is even close to a show spoiler IMO...Anyway, I have a game so I can't it live. Damn. DVR ftw.
10/8/2009 6:46:35 PM
ok, 3 episodes in now... im having a hard time enjoying this shownothing since the (SPOILER ALERT) flashfoward has really happened. i'll give it one more episode
10/8/2009 8:53:33 PM
the somolia thing intrigues me
10/8/2009 9:47:50 PM
^^agreed. every show has just added a new random thing. nothing has built on yet.
10/8/2009 11:07:03 PM
the last scene was the only thing entertaining in this episode
10/8/2009 11:24:06 PM
anyone who is interested in the IDEA of the show but not digging on the show, if you're a reader, i highly recommend the book. its only like 300 pages and a quick, very entertaining read. i enjoyed it a lot and it's way more scientific but still interesting. you can even borrow it from the library.unless something majorly awesome happens soon, this show wont last
10/8/2009 11:32:45 PM
The exchange between German law enforcement was way too cliche and over the top at times. The whole Britney spears comeback was almost cheesy enough to turn the show off right then. The whole time I'm watching this show I know its a tv show. Even as crazy as lost gets, I still can imagine its real while its on.
10/8/2009 11:33:13 PM
i liked the crow thing, and thought it was executed very well. the only reason i wonder how long this show will last is because the events culminate on april 28 2010, so where does the show go after that?one thing i think some of the nay-sayers here are missing, except for maybe NCSUWolfy because she could know something the rest of us don't, is that, IMO, the devil is in the details of this show. we know that the remains match the DNA and that homeboys girlfriend saw him on the beach at their wedding on their day. so maybe not everything is so destined to happen.
10/9/2009 10:29:14 AM
the remains are probably her legs and maybe an arm since she was shown mostly covered by a blanketole girl's vision ended when she was still far away, so maybe she's marrying someone else on that date (that bitch)

Thoughts and Musings- In every show with an ensemble cast, there is always one storyline that no one gives a fuck about. Here it is the alcoholic phone repair guy and his dead daughter, in Lost it is Sun's flashbacks, in Sopranos it was anytime Janice was central to the plot...hopefully they don't spend too much more screentime with this asshole- The Nazi thing was an expected cocktease, but poorly executed...the rain, the dark corridors, the MP straight of Inglorious Basterds; all a little too much...and wouldn't it take more than confirmation from some fatass, dancing in his underpants pothead for them to release a war criminal scot free ? I don't know, but I felt unsatisfied after this played out- The cliche of someone mentioning something in passing and it triggering a thought in someones head; here Jett Jackson saying "all over the world" and Shakespeare in Love running with it...thats not even a new bit of information; obviously it happened all over the world, they're FBI, they know this...a weak bit of writing here.- They need to bring the babysitter back...Gabrielle Union and Penny are nice, but the babysitter was by far the hottest piece of ass on the show.
10/9/2009 10:44:43 AM
It definitely slowed down this week. Kind if a 'meh' episode. I am interested in the Somalia thing. I imagine it was a test blackout in a localized area where information isn't easily transmitted from...And I definitely agree about the dude and his daughter... boring plotline to say the least.
10/9/2009 11:39:58 AM
10/9/2009 12:01:13 PM
^jesus christ YES! I hated that plotline when i was into that show.
10/9/2009 12:15:10 PM
pretty much every plotline in heroes at this point
10/9/2009 1:42:58 PM
maybe the flash forwards were an unforeseen side effect of a terrorist plot to wreck havoc around the world.
10/9/2009 2:18:42 PM
lol @ people watching heroes, i bailed at the beginning of season 3this episode, while not terribly exciting, was goodi like the twist in making us think some flash forwards dont come trueim starting to think that its just like that bartender lady said, some people see what they want to seewhich probably means that ashanti didnt see jackie chan and he will in fact die.and freckles will not have a babyas far as the ending, i think that tower is part of some underground atom accelerator which had the unfortunate side effect of knocking people outsorry for the spoilers, im just good at predicting things
10/9/2009 6:30:33 PM
10/9/2009 6:48:00 PM
this show is so dumb, but i can't stop watching.
10/11/2009 2:58:37 PM
10/11/2009 3:46:02 PM
10/11/2009 3:55:36 PM
10/11/2009 4:20:40 PM
maybe the people that didn't pass out aren't actually people.aliens.or terminators.
10/11/2009 4:28:43 PM
just watched all 3 episodes on Hulu yesterday and today...I must say, some of the acting is pretty horrid (i.e. the little girl Charlie and the FBI director guy) otherwise I enjoyed it. Good story so far.
10/12/2009 6:50:38 PM
joseph fiennes' american accent is very annoying. he's almost lost it a couple of times
10/12/2009 7:18:58 PM
the little girl charlie is the best actor in it. (he part when she saw the boy in the hospital)...elite acting piece right ther
10/12/2009 10:33:26 PM
I like how it took the ramblings of some senile nazi for them to realize that crows died all over the world at the same time. I mean wtf how would that go unnoticed worldwide. A++ writing.Honestly dude should just go back hitting the bottle and knock up the broad that's working on the 'investigation' with him.....
10/13/2009 12:22:37 PM
so all that kaballah stuff was just bs right?
10/13/2009 12:29:21 PM
yeah, this show has so many plot holes it's starting to look like swiss cheese. but it's decent entertainment so far.
