Oh woops, we accidentally insmother and HTA. Thanks for the stations HTA.Yoda, datacore farming is quite lucrative. Also 40m isn't much money.[Edited on July 11, 2010 at 12:32 PM. Reason : asdf]

^What does that first line say/mean?
7/11/2010 6:33:13 PM
^^ 40 million for me right now is a month worth of revenue. Im in 0.0 with no way right now to make money other than PI and mine (which of course is crap).Im debating dropping my corp for a few months and go mission running again. I made a good bit of money doing that.
7/11/2010 9:20:26 PM
You're in 0.0? I made 40 mil in a couple of hours just ratting wheni was in 0.0
7/11/2010 10:33:54 PM
I thought that ratting was easy money in 0.0. That and scanning down plexes.
7/12/2010 1:50:04 AM
If you can't make money in 0.0, you're doing it wrong.
7/12/2010 8:11:00 AM
^ exactly Im not ratting. I dont have a ratting ship right now and we dont have ABC minerals in our system and our alliance is a bunch of pricks. Tis why I like PI kinda, im making a pretty penny off of it right now, then again I know how to do it and most of my corp isnt.
7/12/2010 10:04:28 AM
You can rat quite easily in a battlecruiser, I used to rat in my hurricane killing guristas pirates, and it was easy money...
7/12/2010 1:11:27 PM
7/12/2010 1:20:47 PM
shit, making money in 0.0 is easy, even more so with PI.... 0.0 planets in PI are bank, you can supply 90% of the POS fuels and such with PI alone, with PI and mining you can run shit
7/13/2010 10:45:24 AM
^ exactly, which is how Im making money. Mining is ok, but Im still in a retriever, working for a Hulk. Plus theres no ABC minerals in our system. Im living hand to mouth so I dont have money to spare on a BS for ratting right now. ^^Which is why Im thinking of leaving as my corp isn't that supportive of me right now.
7/13/2010 11:16:00 AM
If you are near any NPC space, 0.0 missions give much higher standing and rewards.
7/13/2010 11:51:33 AM
So with the release of the CSM june minutes and CCP pretty much telling the CSM/players that we dont care on improvements only on new stuff, so go fuck yourself...Are we starting a boycott?Seriously with this, as Im on several other eve threads on other forums and I think EVE is seriously gonna lose some membership here soon over this.
7/13/2010 1:20:57 PM
A buddy of mine was paraphrasing, and it sounded like there were only a couple obvious things that CCP said no too, like features that would be too stressful for the servers, etc. The only new content I heard about was the 3D full-sized avatars, and that there would mainly be changes to current content...so unless he told me wrong, it sounds like this might be a good patch.
7/13/2010 1:33:55 PM
improvements? content? link?
7/13/2010 1:45:46 PM
Just find the CSM minutes from their most recent meeting, its in the CSM sub-forum @ the eve-o forums. Its quite lengthy, and lists everything they proposed, with the responses from CCP.
7/13/2010 2:52:00 PM
interesting
7/14/2010 10:18:01 AM
^^ Its also posted as a hot news link ingame now. Personally I can care less about walking in stations. I also dont like the sounds of making it like you can kill people in station. Ill go play an FPS if I want that.
7/14/2010 10:25:44 AM
That would be pretty stupid if they allowed that...
7/14/2010 10:34:20 AM
I keep trying to bait Hulks in hi-sec in observance of Hulkageddon, but there haven't been any takers. The free ore from their cans has been nice though.
7/22/2010 2:39:25 PM
Goonswarm were the masterminds behind that, except they just outright attacked you and killed you before they got Concordokened
7/22/2010 3:13:35 PM
Hulkageddon officially ended this year on the 18th of July with some guy named Phil MacMannon on top with almost 400 kills. The originator of the event is Helicity Boson and here is its site. http://www.hulkageddon3.machine9.net/
7/22/2010 5:51:47 PM
Oh then this is different, Goonswarm were the original ones who opened the flood of carebear tears

Id forgotten all about that. I heard it about a year ago when it first came out on one of the EVE podcasts.
8/20/2010 10:38:06 PM
So this has been too quiet lately...Whats everyone think of all the lag work they are doing? I liked the one post they had today on module repeats.Im glad they are offering incentives for mass test people but I still think they either need to offer more, or get some alliances involved. My alliance i know would join if we quit getting attacked and had GMs supporting the enemy...
9/13/2010 3:01:35 PM
I'm glad that CCP is being vocal about their efforts in improving things. If nothing else it keeps the player base from resorting to idle speculation and whining.

Can anyone recommend a good Eve app for Android?

Aura seems pretty good. I'm using EveHQ on the desktop and Capsuleer on my iPod.
9/15/2010 4:30:10 PM
Damn you occam, I was in atlas up to this Monday. It's sad seeing all the Corp members drop like flies for greener pastures now. I'm considering dropping roles and joining up with IT. Kinda reluctant to leave my corp of 3 years though.
9/15/2010 7:56:35 PM
So the new expansion is announced.http://www.eveonline.com/incursion/I dont like the main point of it being sansha invasion. But I do like all the little features they are putting in like the new salvaging ship and the CSM changes (which are well needed).
9/22/2010 5:13:12 PM
I wonder when we'll get some details. The salvaging ship is really the only thing I'm interested in. Joining a public fleet sounds like asking to get podded.
9/23/2010 4:13:57 PM
a salvaging ship does sound cool but I doubt they'll actually make one thats better than what a battlecruiser can do
9/23/2010 4:51:39 PM
The new salvaging ship as shown in the dev blog looks cool. Can anyone predict the market price based on the BP cost and the mineral cost shown in the dev blog post?
9/27/2010 6:09:41 PM
From another eve forum for the guys also playing minecraft
9/30/2010 4:08:47 PM
^ signedBTW, I hate when they screw up updates. I couldn't log in this morning which means now that I'm I work, I can't login to put skills in my now empty queue.
9/30/2010 4:11:29 PM
I learned real quick never to trust CCPs estimates. Look at the server upgrade, sure youll be done in what was it 6 hrs? I bet 4 days. Took them what 2.5?Always set a lv5 skill during patches and whatnot.
9/30/2010 4:40:40 PM
I meant to drop one in my queue last night, but I forgot while playing Minecraft.
9/30/2010 5:05:49 PM
Pulled off a minor corp robbery last week; made off with about 70 million in fittings and ammo. I'm kinda proud of myself.
10/11/2010 6:30:32 PM
Can anyone recommend an Amarr ship loadout for solo level 4 mission running; preferably something that doesn't take 5 years worth of skills?
10/15/2010 3:38:37 PM
Dont fly amarr but you can find what you're looking for herehttp://eve.battleclinic.com/browse_loadouts.phpyou can put 8 turrets on an apoc and plus its cheaper than a abbadon I think. I dont know if you have both lasers and missles but I would go with that
10/15/2010 8:37:39 PM
I'm well aware of battle clinic. The majority of their loadouts are centered around PVP and aren't really what I'm looking for. What's your beef with Amarr ships? They have good armor, respectable drone capabilities, and I don't have to pay out the nose for ammo.

Do any of you do datacore farming? I'm intending to getinto it but wanted to know if you guys recco any agents or start points. I do mostly gallente and amarr missions with high soe standings as well.

In reference to http://thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=604260http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1406819I know I do a bunch of POS management and maintained which is why project management would be applicable Id think for me.
11/2/2010 2:30:20 PM
The benefit lies in the execution. Can you frame the experience you provided independent of a video game setting.A potential strategy:I remotely coordinated manufacturing operations for a volunteer organization. This involved supervising a strict production schedule and managing the logistical concerns of material acquisition and warehousing...All of this is potentially true with respect to POS management. I'm sure you could think of a way to expound on this quite a bit with having to reveal that this all took place in a video game. Everyone knows that 0.0 can be just as cut throat as the real world. Managing supply chains from a desk can't be but so different than via an EVE terminal. Instead of managing the construction of tech 2 ships you you be looking after some other sort of widget that you would probably never come in physical contact with. The biggest draw back is that these skills are next to impossible for a perspective employer to verify unless your Crop CEO is going to provide a reference. But then the CEO will need more conventional accreditation. I can't think of a good way to handle inquiries as to the nature of the "volunteer organization".
