If you were perfect, you should be able to date him and trust him no matter his sexual orientation. However, in reality, it would be emotionally tumultuous if you aren't the most confident person. That doesn't seem to be the case or you wouldn't be talking to TWW about this. Also, it's not that men can't be bi, but the social repercussions of any same sex encounter are much more severe for a man. A woman can kiss a woman and no one blinks. If a man kisses another man, he is deemed a faggot. So the way I see it, it isn't that bi men are "more gay" than bi women, just that they are forced to be more committed to the cause of sucking dick.

for the top of the page...again, let me repeat

ok this is an example of women getting the short end of the stick in life...its awesome for a dude to date a hot bi chick but imo women shouldnt waste their time with someone thats a homo sometimes
4/29/2009 10:37:51 PM
^ are you a woman? Do you know what it would be like for a girl in that situation? How is one awesome and the other a waste of time? In both situations there would be the same issues.

I would not date a woman who is bisexual.

Instead of moving this to chit chat, maybe it'd be better to ask Omar to edit out the pics on the last page.

Moving on to the more important question... would you ever date someone who is metrosexual?
4/30/2009 12:28:46 AM
4/30/2009 6:11:47 AM
From my experiences, any guy that has bisexual tendencies = gay. I think it's an amalgam of a few things: overuse/misapplication of the word "gay", sexist ideas that man-man sex is gay and girl-girl sex is fun, and the fact that most people I hang around have never really been involved with a self proclaimed "bisexual" male.
4/30/2009 8:03:53 AM
^Translation:"Others are sexist, so I might as well be sexist, too."

4/30/2009 8:32:17 AM
Oops, sorry Cansnuts, I didn't mean that quote to be like "quit talking your drama all over the place" but more like, once you've figured out how you feel about this dude, to just perhaps not bring it up with friends and family who are going to have negative feelings about a guy you're dating being bi. Then you might save yourself a lot of unwanted explanations and drama.

4/30/2009 9:08:20 AM
i'm pretty sure that the majority of gay dudes are also metrosexual
4/30/2009 9:11:41 AM
^Which is why you're a homosexist. The idea that gay dudes are generally effeminate is sexist. I'm no scientist, but I believe that gender (masculine/feminine), sexuality (straight/bi/gay), and sex (male/female) are intrinsically independent of one another.
4/30/2009 9:32:22 AM
^word upI'm still sexy
4/30/2009 10:00:27 AM
Just to ask the question... did it occur to anyone here that maybe there's a part of the attraction that's related to a specific individual? I have a self-described bisexual friend that has dated both men and women, and his reasons for going for either one was based on the actual person, their personality, things in common, outlook on life, etc. It had very little to do with their anatomical parts. You people are focused on the sex, and not on the other reasons why people date each other.[Edited on April 30, 2009 at 11:28 AM. Reason : x]
4/30/2009 11:28:43 AM
^ I think in this case it is merely sexual. He has specifically said to me he does not date guys, only girls.

Bobby, while your little thing up there (haha, little thing) is funny, I don't see how it's correct. If a guy likes guys and girls, how is he just gay and not bisexual? The very definition of the term alludes to this. The whole "because he put a penis in his mouth" thing is a circular argument and doesn't make sense.

4/30/2009 2:03:32 PM
His point is you're pretty much wrong. There are tons of gay men who are not "metrosexual" at all, especially since that's a relatively new idea. There have been gay men for thousands of years longer than the idea of "metrosexuals" has been in existence.

^^ oh they existed, we just had a different name for them. instead of metrosexual, we called them fags.

An honest person wont cheat regardless of orientation, a dishonest person will. The question should be, do you think he seems like an honest person?
4/30/2009 11:35:45 PM
i can tell that the guys that are all like "dating a bi chick would be fucking awesome!" have never actually dated one. it can get complicated real fast
5/1/2009 5:25:48 AM
I dated a guy that was bi for about six months. I didn't know he was until after we had dated for a while. I didn't really care. He ended up cheated on me, but with another woman.
