congrats on getting Brown, but this only adds more NCAA scrutiny.
3/16/2009 2:38:09 PM
HOLY SHIT I JUST GOT HOME TO SEE THIS!!!!!!i cant fucking wait for sept. 5th.
3/16/2009 2:38:53 PM
evidently, Lane Kiffin doesn't give a fuck.
3/16/2009 2:38:56 PM
wut?
3/16/2009 2:56:02 PM
like the ones at 1:05 and 2:00
3/16/2009 2:57:16 PM
09/05/09 vs. Western Kentucky 09/26/09 vs. Ohio 10/31/09 vs. South Carolina 11/07/09 vs. Memphis 11/14/09 at Mississippi11/21/09 vs. Vanderbilt11/28/09 at Kentucky i fail to see how any of those games comprise a "bitch of a schedule". the best team out of those last year was a 9-4 ole miss, and everyone else was mediocre
3/16/2009 3:12:48 PM
the kid has serious wheels... i still cant believe we got BOTH of them.
3/16/2009 3:14:38 PM
Ole Miss is going to be loaded next yearSouth Carolina is going to be a good teamand nice how you left out:UCLAAT FloridaAuburnGeorgiaAT Alabama
3/16/2009 3:15:33 PM
^beat me to it.
3/16/2009 3:16:41 PM
well yeah, if you leave out Florida, Georgia, and Alabama games it doesn't look so bad.
3/16/2009 3:17:34 PM
3/16/2009 3:19:03 PM
you dont think they will be a bowl team?
3/16/2009 3:22:17 PM
3/16/2009 3:25:33 PM
im not really sold on USCe either... bowl team maybe, but not a massive hurdle like the big 3
3/16/2009 3:27:02 PM
^^ yeah, I didnt even dignify that with a response at the time... you know since they won a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP after Manning.^ obviously not on that level, but they arent on a Western Kentucky level either. They are good enough to beat any team in the SEC if they dont play a good game.[Edited on March 16, 2009 at 3:27 PM. Reason : d]
3/16/2009 3:27:17 PM
naw, south carolina shouldnt be a bowl team. they have no clueee who their QB will be at this point. i recall them having some serious issues recently with players transferring & or being kicked off the team. Beecher is gone, Smelley is gone, RB Mike Davis is gone, Sidney Rice is gone. Stephen Garcia (who was awful) is going to have to be the starting QB and will be backed up by 2 RS Freshman.their best TE is gone to the draft also.best player they have there is WLB Eric Norwood who will be a senior.there's no way they go to a bowl game. they play @NCST, @Georgia, Ole Miss, Kentucky, @ Bama, @ UT, @ Arkansas, Florida, and Clemson.[Edited on March 16, 2009 at 3:47 PM. Reason : .]
3/16/2009 3:46:46 PM
I thought you just said Kentucky and Ole Miss werent that good
3/16/2009 3:47:58 PM
going back to a previous poster:didn't auburn have cadillac, ronnie, and brandon jacobs before he transferred
3/16/2009 3:55:06 PM
^^ just listing their notable games, i dont think either will be that good but i don't think south carolina will beat them (to clarify)
3/16/2009 3:57:05 PM
^^ yes they did.I think South Carolina will be better than Kentucky
3/16/2009 4:00:27 PM
Rivals just updated their team rankings for recruiting classes. UT moved up to 10th with Bryce Brown. mission accomplished CLK.
3/16/2009 4:18:25 PM
oh god, are you one of those people that refer to coaches as "C+initials?" that shit is so fucking lame[Edited on March 16, 2009 at 4:49 PM. Reason : .]
3/16/2009 4:44:50 PM
i agree lax, abbreviating is lame
3/16/2009 5:03:13 PM
I was trying to save time since I'm at workGood Job Lane KiffinIs that better?
3/16/2009 5:12:54 PM
I'm glad Brown didn't sign with Miami but UT isn't much better since they play UNC in 2011 and 2012. He and Kiffin will get along well.
3/16/2009 7:36:54 PM
3/17/2009 7:30:24 PM
abbreviating is fun when refering to CUM... (fuck florida)
3/18/2009 11:21:05 AM

I love how you can hear Coach O barking no matter what clip they are showing haha
3/31/2009 11:52:34 PM
4/1/2009 3:17:37 PM
i'd like to take this opportunity to thank Lane Kiffin for getting rid of Dan Brooks. Clemson University welcomes him to the defensive line
4/1/2009 3:54:34 PM
hes a good guy, really nice, great coach, but he had to go to make room for Orgeron
4/1/2009 4:32:13 PM
4/2/2009 2:10:54 PM
apparently 2 different D-1 options backed out, and there was no other choice...not sure if they are still D-2, or just a D-1 subdivision.
4/2/2009 2:19:14 PM
D1-AAand maybe by then those teams will be eligible for rankings in the BCS? wasn't there talk of that or something? or has that happened? (App St for example)[Edited on April 2, 2009 at 3:00 PM. Reason : .]

speaking of which, the running game looked good in today's scrimmage... especially Toney Williams. I saw him play a game in HS (from near Atlanta) and he really impressed me, supposed to be a good guy too although hes gotten lost with all the Bryce Brown, Oku hypeStartersOffenseJonathan Crompton, Montario Hardesty, Kevin Cooper, Gerald Jones, Quintin Hancock, Jeff Cottam, Cody Pope, Jacques McClendon, Josh McNeil, Jarrod Shaw and Chris ScottDefenseWes Brown, Dan Williams, Ben Martin, Chris Walker, Rico McCoy, LaMarcus Thompson, Nick Reveiz, C.J. 4/5/2009 5:19:08 AM
there is this crazy obsession about Rod Wilks on a couple of other boards i have looked at... If he lives up to anything at all this year, the obsession could get out of hand.any word on EB's injury and performance in practice?
4/5/2009 10:36:07 AM
berry wasn't injured he's just limited to non-contact work because of his shoulder surgery a few months ago

Jaybee... you said you have season tickets... me and Biofreak70 are going to the home opener on Sept. 5th. tickets will go on sale to the public pretty soon. I have been to many games and sat in various sections. what are your opinions on where someone should sit for their first game in Neyland??
4/13/2009 1:24:57 AM
I never said I had season tickets... I cant make it back to enough games to be worth it (yet). But I am going back to that game and might have some tickets lined up. All seats are pretty good, but I guess the only thing I would avoid is having your back to the jumbotron if at all possible but even thats not a huge deal.
4/13/2009 1:43:20 PM
I just got a letter in the mail regarding ticket/hotel packages for the week after, I'd rather see that game played in 2011 though...
