Rofl, "what they're capable of"? Of course we didn't see that type of play, BECAUSE THE GATORS AREN'T IN THE BIG 12. Don't you get it?

So Tebow for heisman because he has an SEC defense backing him up?
1/9/2009 5:23:40 PM
probably Tebow for Heisman because of his regular season statsGraham Harrell had better stats last year than Bradford did this year and wasn't even in the Heisman discussion...so how come Bradford won it this year with worse stats than Harrell last year?]

Seriously? That's the last thing you should be arguing in terms of Tebow > BradfordHarrell would have had a chance if he and his team didn't implode at the end of the season.[Edited on January 9, 2009 at 5:29 PM. Reason : Harrell]

Tebow for Heisman because he has an SEC defense across from him during the regular season. Last night, this years Heisman averaged 6.2 per pass attempt. Last years Heisman averaged 7.7 per attempt, oh, and btw, he also ran for 5 per attempt totaling over 100 yards....virtually identical stats OUs STARTING RUNNING BACK.It's simply no contest.[Edited on January 9, 2009 at 5:29 PM. I mean there was definately some politickin working against Tebow, but there was also the fact that Sam Bradford had one of the best seasons ever in terms of throwing the football. Fair or not, TTU QBs will always have to battle the "system QB" stigma. Even though I think Harrell is a good pro prospect, we was never going to win the heisman.

Bradford this year: 4,700 passing yards, 50 TDs, 8 INTHarrell last year: 5,700 passing yards, 48 TDs, 14 INTdude threw for 5,700 yards last year! thats absurd!i don't really have a problem with bradford winning the heisman this year, i just think tebow shouldve edged him out for the award[Edited on January 9, 2009 at 5:46 PM. I just don't know what more you could ask from Bradford, he's been unbelievable ever since he took the reigns last year and I personally think he will be the #1 pick.Even last night both of his interceptions hit the WR right in the hands. That along with bad playcalling(run run run every short yardage situation no matter how many times they stop you) cost them the game, Bradford was good.

Honestly the only thing more I could ask for Bradford would be for Oklahoma to have won last night...like I said, I don't hate the pick even though I think Tebow deserved it for leading his team to the same record in a tougher conference...Bradford is a great player, good pocket presence, quick release...I just think the fact that he could only lead his team to 14 points last night goes to show that apparently all his great offensive performances this year weren't against top caliber defenses...Texas is a pretty good team defensively, but I don't know who else they really played with a solid defense
