So I need a little help from one of you. And I'll be helping out you as well.I made a reservation at Days Inn of Birmingham, AL for:Check-in on Dec. 28.Check-out on Dec. 30.Two hours after I made the reservation, I found out my dad made a reservation for us with his friends at another hotel. I tried cancelling this one and they said it was non-refundable (apparently, I missed a checkbox). BUT, I digress. The room is a non-smoking 2 double bed room. It cost me a little over $125. I will show up at the hotel and check you in for the price of $80 for the 2 nights. This hotel is 4/5 of a mile from the stadium. This is the hotel website: http://www.daysinn.com/DaysInn/control/Booking/property_info?propertyId=14951&brandInfo=DISend me a PM

worried your post just what 6-7 posts ago in this thread wouldn't get enough action? will we be subjected to another add on page 4? is your plugging this post in other bowl threads going to stop in the near future? maybe you should make a thread with this info in it....oh wait, nevermind[Edited on December 8, 2008 at 11:11 AM. Reason : nvm]
12/8/2008 11:10:48 AM
seriously, who goes back to the previous page?
12/8/2008 11:33:17 AM
^agreed.^^chill the fuck out.
12/8/2008 11:52:05 AM
So Rutgers beat the hell out of USF, who killed us.But we beat the hell out of UNC, who killed Rutgers. We should call this the Transitive Property Bowl
12/8/2008 1:04:04 PM
^hahaha... and it should be played in a vacuum and we'll assume zero friction.
12/8/2008 1:15:23 PM
we're staying at the hyatt in hoover, close to team's hotel...hear its very nice down that waytwo a days and john parker ftw!
12/8/2008 1:54:04 PM
Was going to stay there, but the double bed rooms were sold out by the time I got back from buying my tickets at the box office. Now staying at the Hyatt Place Birmingham/Inverness (http://birminghaminverness.place.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/place/index.jsp). It's about 15 miles from the field (yours is 13 or so, I think) but it's $78 a night. Hard to argue with that.[Edited on December 8, 2008 at 2:13 PM. 12/9/2008 4:15:10 PM
prolly the only game of the "lower tier" bowls where the teams are coming in on a combined 10 game winning streak. But whatever........terrible bowl, right?
12/9/2008 4:18:25 PM
haha espn had a great bowl preview of NC STATE vs. WEST VIRGINIAwtf, we are NOT the tar heels!!!
12/9/2008 4:23:42 PM
Dumbasses, the bowl is scheduled before the teams are.. (time and date.)I'm sure they would change it if they had any other time they could do it
12/9/2008 4:23:54 PM
Open Football Practice On 12/20 At 4PM"NC State fans will have an opportunity to watch the Wolfpack football team as it prepares for its December 29 game against Rutgers at the Papajohns.com Bowl. How will they be checking IDs at the Will Call? In the event that I get my student ticket and guest tickets and it turns out that I can't go, will they be checking names on the IDs and print tickets at the Will Call at the stadium? Or will they just check to make sure that there is an ID. I'll have to give my ticket to my roommate, who just graduated and has his valid ID.
12/9/2008 5:56:57 PM
^that is stupid.....so will the tickets be given out on a "first come-first serve" basis? What time will they start handing them out?
12/9/2008 6:02:32 PM
^They'll have enough tickets - you have to claim and purchase a "ticket" on the ticketing website first. That determines availability.
12/9/2008 6:05:17 PM
Espn just did this thing analyzing which players to watch and they profiled RW and how hot hes been. It freaked me out cause they said we were playin in the car care bow v. WVU. For a second I thought they had switched us bowls. They havent have they?
12/9/2008 7:35:26 PM
No, ESPN just doesn't know the difference between NC STATE and [fags]
12/9/2008 7:37:28 PM
^^^i know there will be enough tickets......but what determines where you sit? is it first come first serve or random?
12/9/2008 7:48:15 PM
So I decided to read a bit from the Rutgers perspective, and learned... mainly that ESPN's Big East blogger is absolute shit. The guy barely says anything worth reading.

12/9/2008 8:50:09 PM
12/9/2008 8:51:46 PM
the game has been scheduled for the 29th for at least a month...thats when i first saw it anyway.
12/9/2008 8:54:21 PM
i gotta say that out of all the bloggers this year, i've been most impressed with Heather Dinich covering the ACCthe non-BCS and independents is one stupid bitch
12/9/2008 9:02:08 PM
so do we know for sure where student tickets are?
12/9/2008 9:25:39 PM
12/9/2008 10:29:07 PM
yah that was pretty asinine...
12/9/2008 10:39:53 PM
I agree that Dinch was a horrible cunt to start the season...but she actually made an attempt to become more knowledgable about ACC football as the season went on. I can respect that. Most people are stubborn and won't change their writing even though a chimp could write more interesting articles.
12/9/2008 10:40:57 PM
me and my two roommates just got our student voucher. I may be bringing my brother in law as well. Don't really care where we're sitting.....this will be my first bowl game so im stoked. Can't wait for the 28th(im actually looking more forward to this than christmas)
12/10/2008 12:04:12 AM
so is being conf usa champions a bigger deal than ncsu getting into the pizza bowl?someone i know was trying to talk down on the ncsu thing cause their school ecu won conf usa...
12/10/2008 12:06:44 AM
they go to ECU.....don't worry about it.
12/10/2008 12:22:19 AM
They're playing a 6-6 Kentucky team that went 2-6 in the SEC. The biggest prize they can ever hope for at ECU -- aside from the impossibility of running the table and sneaking into the BCS -- is playing the eighth best team in the SEC. Wow.
12/10/2008 12:31:17 AM
i'm so telling her that next time
12/10/2008 12:32:40 AM
I'd simply bring up that we beat them. End of discussion.
12/10/2008 1:37:12 AM
she started with i know yall beat us, but we did win our division etc
12/10/2008 2:03:41 AM
do these prices look appealing to anyone?[Edited on December 10, 2008 at 4:04 AM. Reason : if so pm and we can talk]
12/10/2008 3:58:26 AM
haha, depends on the area. For one night though, i guess you're alright. I do know there are some "areas" around Birmingham that would make me shiver though. I'm glad me and my friends are staying where we are staying, even if it is 100 a night
12/10/2008 6:26:13 AM
^^Where did you get that from?
12/10/2008 8:11:53 AM
Did Russell Wilson call any of you yesterday too?
12/10/2008 9:51:31 AM
if i only had a ride and a ticket i could get those cheap hotel rates[Edited on December 10, 2008 at 2:56 PM. Reason : 2 rooms at those rates actually...cramp 10 ppl in those mf's lol]
12/10/2008 2:55:45 PM
I'm looking at buying tickets online at the site and can anybody tell me why all the lower level seats aren't available?
