^^ yeah i did grad school at UF for all of 2k6. good times there. came in as they won bball, left as they were winning football and bball again.[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 1:13 AM. Reason : no point hating somewhere that you go to school at and isnt in the ACC]
12/14/2008 1:12:11 AM
She just doesn't like Florida...I go to grad school at UC-Davis so no hate needed since they are irrelevant on the sports scene....

comparing conf. to conf. games could be a lot of factors... GT for example, they have a very odd offense. 5 years from now ACC schools will probably have a "better" defense against them then a team that randomly plays them once even if that team actually has a better defense

I thought it was interesting how they put the camera on Tebow while Bradford was thanking GodHey guys, be sure to get the reaction of the outspoken Christian dude

haaha jason white. They really do pick some shitty players for this award
12/14/2008 12:42:48 PM
^^^ you always try to bring things down to a really simple level, its not that easy. First off, service academy teams < most teams in major conferences, Army could know exactly what a team was going to do and still couldnt stop it. Florida has crazy amounts of talent, its not a question of knowing how to stop it, its a question of having the players to do it.if you have two teams that have identical talent, the one that is more familiar with the opponent will probably do better. [Edited on December 14, 2008 at 1:28 PM. Reason : d]
12/14/2008 1:26:45 PM
ah, so what you're saying is that the SEC doesn't have the quality of players needed to stop a high powered offense with "a crazy amount of talent"
12/14/2008 4:40:16 PM
12/14/2008 4:46:02 PM
^^ I am saying that Florida has more talent than any team they have played this year
12/14/2008 5:01:47 PM
so1. the SEC has the best defenses in the country, which is why their offenses are so shitty2. florida has better talent on offense than anyone has on defense in the SECthat about right?[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:05 PM. Reason : .]

lol - i figured i'd just get away from the troll and get back to JB since he responded
12/14/2008 5:06:31 PM
I know you are trying to word this in a way that you can site one single stat as an "example" so lets say1. The SEC as a whole has better defenses than the Big 122. Florida has more talent on offense than any other SEC team
12/14/2008 5:06:55 PM
how do you know the SEC has better defenses than the Big XII? the only teams with any sort of elite offensive players in the SEC this year pretty much lit up the scoreboard at will[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:09 PM. Reason : .]
12/14/2008 5:08:04 PM
you can tell by watching the games, seeing the talent, the coaching talent. This has been my point all along with you, you cant just watch sportscenter to get the final score and say "oh, thats bad offenses". I do completely agree that the SEC is down a ton offensively this year, but that doesnt exclude the defenses from being good.you watch Big 12 games and players are open all the damn time, wide fucking open, and RBs have long ass runs where they dont even get touched.[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:13 PM. Reason : d]
12/14/2008 5:09:51 PM
maybe the big 12 offenses are just that good
12/14/2008 5:11:27 PM
see ^^
12/14/2008 5:12:58 PM
almost every single one of my friends here in atlanta is a SEC fan. i have watched a freaking ton of SEC football this year. i do not believe there are many (if any) sec defenses that would look better against a Big XII team than a defense from a comparable level of team in the Big XII. that's been my point all alongyou can't honestly believe a team like south carolina would shut down oklahoma or texas or texas tech. bama might be able to contain them, but then again they contained florida and still lost[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:17 PM. 12/14/2008 5:15:58 PM
really? let's look at florida's last 6 regular season gamesKentuckyGeorgiaVandySouth CarolinaCitadelFlorida Stateyou don't think Bradford could put up 60 on those teams?take out citadel and replace with LSU...you think LSU (who gave up back to back 50+ games) holds him under 60?take out Florida State...you think Arkansas holds bradford below 60?[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:21 PM. Reason : .]
12/14/2008 5:19:56 PM
yes. I can honestly say that one of those 6 would keep them under 60
12/14/2008 5:24:30 PM
I'm just glad Archie is STILL the only 2-time winner!
12/14/2008 5:27:54 PM
just because you say it doesn't mean it wouldn't happen. but either way we'll never know. we'll just have to take when oklahoma pounds the gaytors as an example
12/14/2008 5:28:45 PM
Ohio State was supposed to have a great defense the last two years
12/14/2008 5:29:24 PM
and ohio state consistently underperforms and is overrated as fuck[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:30 PM. Reason : ]
12/14/2008 5:30:03 PM
who? Florida averaged 51+ per game against those 8 teams, and urban actually called off the dogs sometimes...stoops just used bradford to curb stomp teams and get those 60 pointsi'm not saying that it will never, ever happen...i just don't think any of those teams have shown anything on defense against a really good offense that would lead one to believe that they are somehow better teams than Nebraska, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Missouri[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:33 PM. anybody think tebow comes back next year to try and win a 2nd heisman and (possibly) a 3rd national championship?]
12/14/2008 5:30:36 PM
no cause wilson and nc state has this shit on lock down come next year
12/14/2008 5:31:52 PM
^^^ and I feel Florida has more talent than Oklahoma. Texas A&M? really? have you watched one second of one of their games this year? they might be in the bottom 5 of BCS conference schools. Every team in the SEC except MAYBE, MAYBE Miss State would be favored over A&M^^ yes, I think he is coming backoff topic, but funny[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:35 PM. Reason : d]

12/14/2008 5:39:10 PM
played poorly in those games? they're #117 in total offense in D-1 this year...that shit wasn't a fluke
12/14/2008 5:40:57 PM
^^Kind of feel the same way, but would not be surprised to see him try to change how the position is played. III[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:41 PM. Reason : .]
12/14/2008 5:41:21 PM
obviously they werent that bad because the didnt end up with the 117th worst record. They played some good games early in the year. Vandy's weakness has always been its depth. After midseason they were beat up and performance fell. Vandy just doesnt have the depth to go 2-3 deep[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:43 PM. Reason : d]
12/14/2008 5:42:44 PM
ha. so much for being objectable. just SEC homorism
12/14/2008 5:43:41 PM
^^^ i could maybe see that happening, but it'd take a whole team to basically run florida's offense.that i do not see happening at all.[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:44 PM. Reason : ^^^]
12/14/2008 5:43:44 PM
^^ not at all, if anything i have proved the opposite. For some reason you two just hate anything to do with the SEC and you live picking whatever Johnny come lately conference is doing better than normal that year as your new darling to argue against the SEC. I dont know if you are just doing it to troll or Peyton, Eli, Archie, Tebow and Hershel Walker gang banged your girlfriend or what but its annoying as shit[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:48 PM. 12/14/2008 5:46:35 PM
I dont see it, hes not nearly accurate enough for the NFL, and everyone on defense outside the DT will be just as fast as him[Edited on December 14, 2008 at 5:49 PM. Reason : d]
