Could be a legacy thing... but usually that entails several generations and nice big donations to the school... And about dismissing accomplishments, I seem to recall everyone dismissing the fact that Bush has an MBA from Harvard. :shrug: Either way, it doesn't seem Obama was a great student during his undergrad years, but somehow managed to get into Harvard Law. So it was his race, his father, or ? Either way, it wasn't hard work on his part.....

inherent, not inheritAnd I think y'all should start a different thread if you wanna discuss affirmative action. It's difficult to debate such a large issue using one specific example. Y'all should address the trends, not your personal beliefs about Obama's teenage work ethic.
