Do you know how to seal a sunroof? Long story short... we like having the garage to work on things & park bikes, but the newish roomie wants to park her car in there b/c it leaks. I'm hoping to find a way to just get it to stop leaking to avoid her getting near the tools.PM sent about more...

we'll need pics of the roomie first.

just pull the fuse and apply liberal amounts of caulk

^^LOL - I promise you all don't want anything to do with this crazy conniving b*tch^ I think her (soon to be ex-)husband already tried that... but I'm willing to do it again if it might work.[Edited on January 7, 2009 at 7:53 PM. Reason : ]

tranny fluid doesn't look bad. got a reusable gasket that I won't throw away, but the new gasket is going on. I don't trust anything to be reusable after a certain number of miles. Rubber gets hard and shit.

old rubbers are never a safe bet

Always wondered why most of the guys I know claim that changing plugs on the Triton engines is a bitch. THEY'RE PUSSIES. I've changed far harder. I really dig the coil-on-plug setup. You just gotta have the right combination of tools and a really good feel. It's like locating the clitoris while in the back seat of a Honda Civic out in the middle of the woods in the dark. Experience is key here.BTW, BTTT. Will be getting BigBlueRam's Excursion back to him this evening. Blown fuse on the driver side HID, BTW. Plugs didn't look bad. Oil filter was put on with superglue by some monkeys at the local quick lube place. Tranny fluid still had some red to it.You know, every time I get a V10 in, I think to myself, "there's something fundamentally wrong with how this thing sounds." I remember some guys at Road and Track said the Viper sounded like one of those old UPS trucks. Damn if they weren't right.

you talking about that whirrrrr sound? There was a popular mechanics or motor trend article a loooong time ago about engine/exhaust harmonics, which included the viper V10, shelby Daytona, and some other neat autos
1/12/2009 9:49:48 AM
Yeah. Just a funky sound in general.Oh, back to the top.
1/15/2009 10:17:24 AM
speaking of harmonics, ive yet to hear a better boner-popper than the exhaust resonance from my truck when the engine's loaded up in OD at 30+ psi boost
1/15/2009 10:28:52 AM
it is a rather orgasmic sound.
