that was beatdown (w/o our starting tackles nonetheless)....second panthers shutout i've seen in person, but by far the best and lol at sitting in front of some chief fans....there were far more of them there than I expected

^ I lived in Kansas for 3.5 years and the Chiefs definitely have good and loyal fans. Arrowhead will sell out even if they are 1-15.

“Dammit, this always happens! I think I'm gonna score and then I never score! It's not fair! We've traveled a hundred miles 'cause we thought we were gonna score, but now it's not gonna happen! SHUT UP! I'm sick and tired of this! We're never gonna score! It's just not gonna happen! We're just gonna get old like these people, but they've probably scored! But not us! We're never gonna score! WE'RE NEVER GONNA SCORE!!! AAGGHHHH!”

^ ha ha a good Beavis quote. Herm Edwards is an over-rated coach. Yeah I realize the Chiefs have no offensive line and no QB, but he's had three years there to start making some changes and bringing in some personnel, but the Chefs (intentional misspelling) have only gotten worse.

rflong, where in KC were you, I lived in Olathe and Overland Park for 3 1/2 years. Arrowhead stadium is pretty sick and I still believe that Bank of America Stadium is the shittiest in the league, we need a new one

^ I lived nowhere near KC. I lived in Hutchinson which is like 3.5 hours southwest of KC. It is about an hour northwest of Wichita. The local high school team played Olathe schools in the 6A championships three times while I lived there. Anyway BOA is probably not the shittiest stadium in the league. Not when Dolphin Stadium still exists and Jacksonville's stadium is nothing special. BOA is definitely nowhere near as nice as the newer stadiums like Paul Brown, Heinz Field, Arizona, etc but Charlotte is a smaller market team so what can you expect. Also the Georgia Dome and Super Dome are not special either.Arrowhead just has a kind of special feel to it, sort of like Lambeau. I've seen the Eagles stadium too from the outside, but never been inside.

did yall know that over 20 NFL teams have gotten new stadiums since BofA Stadium was built?its getting up there in age relative to other NFL stadiums, but its not that bad
10/8/2008 11:27:53 AM
They won't build another one for 20 years at the earliest

Not that I completely agree with this list, but here's a ranking system SI did last year. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/nfl/11/01/fvi.intro/index.html?bcnn=yes

For a team that represents two huge football states, I think we deserve a better one then BOA is what I'm saying. It is 12 years old now, and they atleast need to upgrade it. We have the 6th highest stadium capacity (I think) and I know that in that time we have received some capital to get some things done with continually sold out games*Soldier Field is my favorite, and I've been/seen to 6*By far the Dolphins field sucks a fat one, and the raiders need to relocate to Oklahoma[Edited on October 8, 2008 at 12:36 PM. I like how the Giants at giant stadium are 25th and the jets and giants stadium at 32nd
10/8/2008 12:47:38 PM
^ That is because J-E-T-S fans suck. Just like Met fans.

BOA stadium is very cookie-cutterish. Visually very pleasing, but nothing that makes it feel authentic. I think the new Jumbotrons are a huge upgrade though ... now if we could just upgrade the topcats.

if they do build a new one, please try not to do it right smack in between the interstates.Parking is such a hassle if you're not there a good 3 hours in advance.

B of A is a fun place. I didn't know it was the 7th biggest when full capacity? that is awesome! I love it because the tailgating is so different than it is here. Here we are out in the middle of nowhere and its fun as hell. there you are in the midst of a giant city and can walk around everywhere...bars, clubs, hotels, so much to do. Anyways the panthers are having me feel good. See yall in Charlotte next weekend (we are making a weekend out of it since no NCSU game) Maybe suite on Sat night then tailgate, game, and uptown Sunday!?! =)
