actually 49 points on 17-21

They credited him with one of Boris Diaw's baskets on reverse dunk probably cuz they didnt believe Diaw could actually touch the rim

Just got a basket. Fouled. Missed the free throw though.

^^DO IT.

So completely worth it.

And yeah ^. Tony Parker, an elite NBA point guard. He's got to put up big numbers for the Spurs right now. We're going to see him carrying a team while Manu is out.

damn the timberwolves had one of the best court designs IMO, and they went and stained 80% of it with varnish

and took the trees off of the out of bounds area on the sideline

lame

So in my fantasy league, should I pick up Tyrus Thomas or Tim Thomas?

Tough...I would say Tyrus.

Tim is always attractive in fantasy...but he's way too sporadic with those good games of his. That guy has been wasting talent for over a decade. And Tyrus is going to give you overall better stats. He'll give you more rebounds and blocks (although Tim will definitely give you a couple threes). And Tim Thomas always seems to get injured.

That really sucks. An unbelievable stat line, but I wish he had gotten 50. I wonder if they would have gotten him another bucket, or did they take him out once he got 51?, awesome game. And two of his misses were on 3's; so 17-19 on two pointers. Nice.

I can't wait for Iverson's first game with Detroit; Chauncey needs to hurry up and pass his physical, making the trade official, so that I can breath a sigh of relief.

They would have got him another bucket

The official score at the arena wasn;t corrected until after the game so he thought he had 51

There was like 2 mins left when he scored what he thought was his 51st point

Cool, thanks. That's what I figured.

Oh, and about Tim Thomas. I totally agree, he could have been great if he just had the heart. I saw him play way back in the day in Reynolds, at the Holiday Basketball Tournament. Damn I feel old, it must have been at least 12 years ago.

He was really damn good. There was one really great game where he played against this big ass dude that went to Tennessee, they were just going at it back and forth. He's always been one of those players though that is content to settle for the jumper instead of driving or banging inside.

^^You're welcome.

Wade, after struggling a little the first two games, is looking solid. I think he's going to be 2006 NBA Finals form.

And Celtics don't look like they've faded much.

I would not be surprised to see Oden never make an All-Star team. I've been waiting for him to show me that he's going to be a dominant big man since he stepped on OSU's campus...and I still haven't seen it.

And man I hate to say it...but Lakers are kinda ridiculous right now. Taking the Hornets behind the woodshed.

ROCKETS

SUNS

FIGHT

I'm sure it will be dissected on ESPN...but here's my small review...

- Raefer Alston sets a pick on Matt Barnes...Barnes gives him a cheap shot.

- T-mac immediately hits a three, then Alston goes after Barnes...pushing and shoving.

- Nash runs up to Alston, but as he does, he stumbles...then T-Mac comes over and pushes Nash down.

- Shaq comes over and pushes down T-Mac and "moves" about 5 other people.

- Nobody messes with Shaq.

- Fight over.

And Phoenix is getting punked in the 3rd quarter.

-tough loss for the hawks but what a great showing by those guys on the road. They are for real.

- Nobody is on the same level with the lakers right now. My goodness

- Shaq is the sheriff and he should not be fined or penalized for what he did.

- D-howard has the stat line of the year so far 30 pts 19 rebs 10 blocks

- I know its early and it happens every year but are the spurs in trouble???

Remember Anthony Morrow? Yes, that Anthony Morrow. Just got done dropping 37 in his first start as an undrafted rookie for Golden State. Shot 15-20 and 4-5 from 3.

^^He did have a sweet shot. Never really felt like he lived up to his potential at Tech though. After his freshmen year I thought he would have a couple All-ACC first team years in him.

Quote :
"The New York Knicks have agreed in principle to send power forward Zach Randolph to the Los Angeles Clippers, two league sources said Friday afternoon.

The Clippers would send Tim Thomas and another player who’s still unclear —- Marcus Camby or Cuttino Mobley – to the Knicks for Randolph and guard Mardy Collins.

After trading Jamal Crawford to the Golden State Warriors for Al Harrington on Friday morning, the Knicks would’ve cleared approximately $27 million in salary cap space for the summer of 2010 when their obsession, Cleveland’s LeBron James, can become a free agent."

Knew this was coming sooner or later. With the Brooklyn arena at a stall, could Lebron be far behind (yes... but I'm hoping not) for 2010.

Has anyone noticed the ridiculous numbers Devin Harris has been putting up when he's not injured? he's got 41 against the suns right now. He's been lighting it up this season.
