as for p2w clearance, i will have to check the spec sheet, but i will be using wiseco's recommendations for all clearances (ring gap, etc).

havent updated in a while... i picked up some epoxy primer today. over the past weekend i pulled the PS fender, the grill, headlights, bumper..

been wire wheeling, with most of my latest efforts focused on removing the undercoating from the wheel well (only been working on passenger side so far). i feel a little stupid removing all the paint and undercoating, only to reapply, but i did find a little rust in the wheel well last night at the top of the strut tower that needs attention. it is not bad, but i'm glad i caught it when i did.

also got the undercoating and some of the primer off of the driver side fender well.

the abf alternator setup is nice, but the aba setup works fine for now. do you happen to know the part number for the alternator? i tried finding it in etka but when i searched for the parts it was the aba style case.

i do plan on getting a catch can. i will work that out once everything is in the car. finishing the body work is the main focus now because the engine is almost done. i just need to pick up an oil pump and some engine/trans mounts.

I had it somewhere but couldn't find it ~6 months back when someone else asked. Maybe there is a usable PN on mine.

there were like 3 or 4 layers of paint. i wanted to make sure i had a good base. there were a few areas that had some rust as well. the area around the windshield and floor were the biggest concerns.

but it snowballed...

What kind of sanding tools refinishing methods are you using. I ask bc although I know how to do body work I'm looking for less time consuming more efficient methods

best thing i have found so far for stripping is twisted cup wire wheel (i buy the northern brand one with the "extended life ring") and the hard sponge looking "strip n clean" wheels. for the crevices and such, just a combination of wire wheels and stuff like that on a small air grinder.

is that what you are asking?
