I've seen this floating around. Not politically relevant, but kind of funny.

^? Of course, she has the right.Smart, educated women embrace the responsibility that comes with that right. It involves things like not getting pregnant at 43 or 16.Women don't have to embrace that repsonsibility. They can do what they want. But such a dumbass is not fit for VP.
9/1/2008 5:34:11 PM
but, a guy who bombed the capitol building is definitely fit to be in the President's inner circle, right?
9/1/2008 5:41:58 PM
smart educated women would know that 16 is a healthy age to have a baby. so you lose. big time.

your point?
9/1/2008 6:13:53 PM
The daughter actually looks a bit eskimo here
9/1/2008 6:16:01 PM
^^the point being that more real stuff in the realm of her supporting the bridge to nowhere, to her opposing views to everything Hillary stood for, for her opposition to the right to chose even in the case of rape or incest, for her recent comments saying she doesn't really know what the VP does so she's not sure she'd seriously consider it, and she hasn't really thought about Iraq might come out.And the pending investigation into "troopergate" that was around since before she was picked as vp nominee will have her being deposed under oath in regards to this scandal during time that would have otherwise been spent campaigning.I guess my point more broadly is that vetting someone after-the-fact doesn't show such good judgment.
9/1/2008 6:37:15 PM
her daughter looks pretty bwnable there

i'm so glad mccain picked her as his VP, this election would not be nearly as entertaining with anyone else
9/1/2008 7:15:54 PM
so let me get this straight, was the recently baby Sarah's or her Daughter's? And is the Daughter currently pregnant?
9/1/2008 7:27:52 PM
I can't help but draw some parallels between Palin's daughter and Clinton's affair. Both are personal incidents that find themselves in the public spotlight. For those who say Clinton's affair should not have been a public affair, does the same apply for Palin? Why or why not?For those who say that Clinton's affair should have been a public affair, does the same apply to Palin? Why or why not?I am not trying to turn this into some 'But, but, but...Clinton!' shit. I'm just curious about those who may or may not see parallels between the two.^ The recent baby is Sarah's, and the daughter is currently pregnant.[Edited on September 1, 2008 at 7:37 PM. Reason : ]

^^Online rumors about the daughter having given birth to Trig proved to be false, but caused investigations that brought to light the fact that Sarah's daughter Bristol is currently pregnant out of wedlock & they now announced she will now marry the guy that got her pregnant. The infant Trig will be the uncle of the baby Bristol is having rather than being a baby she gave birth to.According to CNN McCain just recently found out:"Top McCain adviser Steve Schmidt said Monday that newly-minted Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin informed John McCain of her daughter's pregnancy in one of their "private conversations" last week.[Edited on September 1, 2008 at 7:39 PM. Reason : one more of these "^"]
9/1/2008 7:37:58 PM
I don't see a parallel.Clinton himself did some moral crime, not his child. And then he lied.Sarah's daughter got pregnant "inappropriately", not Sarah herself. And there has been no lying.
9/1/2008 7:39:56 PM
. this new shit seems to suggest that theory is logically impossible. so for the most part i think this should be a non-issue except for one point... it just goes to show how retarded the abstinence only education that palin supports is. yes she cant control her daughter. but neither can teachers. sara is the person with probably the most influence in bristols life and unless we assume shes either hypocritical or lazy we can guess she told her daughter repeatedly not to have premarital sex and why. if that kind of strategy worked... well you get the picture. bristols life wouldnt now be fucked and palins family wouldnt be knee deep in scandal and to everyone saying 16 is a great age to have a child i agree. too bad sara was 44 when she gave birth to her 5th child... and it has down syndrome
9/1/2008 7:44:23 PM
so, in short, you like to drag the families of politicians into the dirt along w/ the politician... and then make a weak attempt at an argument about how the politician's policies are at fault.
9/1/2008 7:46:48 PM
okabout this thread.is there some law against a person having a baby now in the liberal world? or am i missing something?i know that no liberal will answer me this, but did palin actually come out and say that her daughter wasn't pregnant or cover up some crime somehow? i'm not seeing an issueif you want an issue by associations here you go:[Edited on September 1, 2008 at 8:00 PM. I'm pretty sure having children is considered a felony in the far left.Up to 10 years prison.
9/1/2008 8:05:36 PM
yeah. you are supposed to have an abortion, durr
9/1/2008 8:08:31 PM
so what about gays. would it have been ok if her daughter was gay? and she adopted the baby? would that be an issue?
9/1/2008 8:09:57 PM
This group is about to break 100So Much For Family Values. Bristol Palin is Pregnant!http://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=25759501863This group is about to break 30001 million strong against Sarah Palinhttp://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=70637055579They raise concerns like:
9/1/2008 8:10:28 PM
i bet there's a billion people out there that will join that club. that looks awesome. i think i might join. how much is it???
9/1/2008 8:14:28 PM

I think she should kick some polar bear in the balls, and start a facebook group for kicking polar bears in the balls. I bet that would get 40 million people in a week. but it would probably come in second to the "He man woman haters" group. I bet Sarah Palins daughter is on facebook. Let's wink at her.
9/1/2008 8:17:55 PM
^i'm sure they'll move on from the baby stuff to whatever the latest story is like thisFrom this:http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/9/1/193111/4427/159/582600

To the republicans on here, does the fact her daughter is preggers bother you? Doesnt bother me.
9/1/2008 8:39:31 PM
i certainly don't give a flying toot
9/1/2008 8:44:11 PM
and they say politics is boring...
9/1/2008 8:45:44 PM
I couldn't care less.Either way, Palin loses. She has an abortion and Palin's family values are reamed, her daughter chooses to have the baby and her family values are questioned, as if supporting her daughter having a baby is somehow bad for family values. Some people are just assholes who look for any reason to hate.
9/1/2008 9:06:45 PM
Well, Supplanter, at least the AIP never bombed the capitol building...
