I never realized how much of a bitch Tommy Bowden is until this game. He coaches his team like its a chore his mommy asked him to do.

holy shit! that was crazy
8/31/2008 12:03:24 AM
The Int in the Ill vs Mizzou game?
8/31/2008 12:06:31 AM
yea
8/31/2008 12:07:32 AM
anyone notice that Texas A&M lost to Arkansas St. as a 20.5 point favorite?
8/31/2008 12:12:48 AM
i wonder if illinois just beat the spread.
8/31/2008 12:17:49 AM
hahaha, depends on when you got it... I had Mizzou -9...
8/31/2008 12:18:37 AM
jesus, lsu's stadium was fucking empty at the end there. what in the world is that about?
8/31/2008 12:30:47 AM
oh I dunno, maybe like...a Cat IV storm thats supposed to make landfall in the next 24 hours and everyone wanting to get out of Dodge.yea, i mean thats a possibility.
8/31/2008 12:40:49 AM
blowout game, hurricane approaching
8/31/2008 12:41:37 AM
^^^ I hope you're kidding. If so, it's hard to tell tone of voice from a message board post. And if you weren't kidding, the oncoming hurricane might have had something to do with it.[Edited on August 31, 2008 at 12:42 AM. Reason : haha, too slow]
8/31/2008 12:41:52 AM
wouldn't stop me if state was defending national champ.just saying.
8/31/2008 12:42:06 AM
yeah, because nc state's football history is equivalent to a shit stain. if nc state was used to winning like lsu and just blew out app st. with a hurricane approaching, you wouldn't be in the stands at the end of the game either.
8/31/2008 12:56:53 AM
LUCKILY duke won. and the game was fun.i'm kind of scurred about the duke ncsu game this year. if they had played THIS weekend we (ncsu) would have lost.
8/31/2008 1:22:17 AM
nahhh our defense is too stout...our guys would have stepped up, and Dukes defense cant handle a pounding of Andre Brown.SC had one of the best LB groups in the SEC, much less the nation and Andre put up near 100 yards.no way Duke can handle that.I still will preach he needs 20+ carries a game. ECU will be a test, they have a stout D line and horrendous corners[Edited on August 31, 2008 at 1:44 AM. Reason : d]

9/1/2008 10:14:16 PM
how do they figure that he is a "success" at UCLA after one fucking game?
9/1/2008 11:58:41 PM
because they were a shit team last year and beat a top 20 team from the OMFGWTFBBQITSTHESEC!!!

haha, this is pretty good... dead on for the most part too, especially Kentucky, Arkansas, and Georgia haha:The SEC as the Middle East:ALABAMA: Saudi Arabia.Once a proud kingdom, torn up by fighting and surrounded by Iran and Iraq (see below), with someone in Al-Qaeda hell bent on bringing them down.LSU: Iran.Current superpower in the region but it will all come crashing down because they have a highly functioning idiot as a leader.TENNESSEE: Iraq.Got a bunch of history but the country as a whole is going in the tank and they will kill themselves off before it is all over.FLORIDA: Syria.Evil punks who will stoop to whatever level they need to win. No real history to speak of but thinks they are the cradle of civilization.GEORGIA: Kuwait.Tons of riches and unrealized potential, but still vulnerable to Iraq.AUBURN: Al Qaeda. No country, just a movement of disgruntled fanatics who live to blow up those who are more fortunate. No other goal in life than to bring down the House of Saudi Arabia. Terrorizing the Arabians for 6 years is the crowning achievement in their history. Signing day was a major setback to their movement. They will be looking for a new leader soon.ARKANSAS: Palestinian territories. No one really cares or worries about them unless they can be of some use (i.e. winning a battle once in a while against Iran that causes a bit of shake up in rankings).MISSISSIPPI STATE: Qatar.Where is Qatar, anyway?OLE MISS: Afghanistan. Not much going for it, but hot women.VANDERBILT: Israel.Just leave them alone for God's sake. What did they ever do to you?KENTUCKY: Morocco. Not really part of the Middle East. Has other things to do than fight (or play football).SOUTH CAROLINA: Libya.Has a charismatic leader in a land of nothingness. Will rattle his sword but knows he does not have a whole heck of a lot to back it up with.and this is funny as hell:[Edited on September 2, 2008 at 11:44 AM. Reason : f]

holy shit, I didnt know Duke pulled in 32,000 fans for their opening game

Vandy's stadium/crowd is an embarrassment to the SEC[Edited on September 4, 2008 at 8:36 PM. Reason : d]
9/4/2008 8:36:12 PM
Come on Vandy. Two years in a row!
9/4/2008 8:39:09 PM
as a selfish NCSU fan i hope vandy doesnt score...then i can give myself some false sense of optimism about the wolfpack's chances and just concede that south carolina has a great defense
9/4/2008 8:45:25 PM
9/4/2008 8:46:41 PM
I have a feeling this game will be similar to last weeks. Vandy won't be able to put up much offense and SC will start to get some points late in the game.
9/4/2008 8:52:47 PM
look for Steven Garcia to get in on 8 or 10 plays
9/4/2008 8:55:50 PM
nice ball placement
9/4/2008 8:58:41 PM
Erin Andrews is rocking some see through shirt can the queer ass cameraman pan down a bit?
9/4/2008 9:02:32 PM
9/4/2008 9:11:07 PM
Spurrier is about to play quaterback carousel
9/4/2008 9:13:37 PM
In case anyone wants to play the game association game...Vandy is at home, and they almost beat UGA last year.
9/4/2008 10:42:11 PM
Vandy making State look even better!
9/4/2008 10:46:59 PM
State is 0-1you know who else is 0-1...
9/4/2008 10:48:06 PM
I can put my homerism aside for a second and hope that Spurrier gets what's coming to him in this game.
9/4/2008 10:49:00 PM
^^ Whats Virginia have to do with this?^ you are a South Carolina fan?[Edited on September 4, 2008 at 10:51 PM. Reason : d]
9/4/2008 10:51:20 PM
no... by homerism I mean a normal NC State fan in misery wanting company.I hate Steve Spurrier.
9/4/2008 10:53:16 PM
lol I'd say that's probably a make up call.
9/4/2008 11:10:36 PM
what a horrible decision to kick that field goal. Vandy blocked the last attempt and has only had one drive the entire night. Why not try and punt it, putting them inside the 20?
9/4/2008 11:10:43 PM
^ I loved the commentary on whether or not they haden't gotten the delay of game penalty, they would've made it.besides the fact that it would've been a first down.
9/4/2008 11:13:02 PM
Vandy dominating that ass! w00t
9/4/2008 11:16:07 PM
get ready for all the SEC people to step up and say "vandy beating SC just shows how strong the conference is top to bottom"because South Carolina couldn't just be overrated
9/4/2008 11:17:22 PM
^^ aha, yea, that was funny
