I really like this cd. A lot. A few of the songs have very corny hooks though. That's really the only downfall. THat was part of the problem with Kingdom Come too.

The timbaland beats arent bad, just seem a little stale. They'd be the hottest songs of the year, if the years happened to be 2001.

Lyrically, he's as good as it gets. On par with anybody. He's the only rapper that drops an album and we do this type of analysis of his cds. all of his LPs are compared to the classics, or his other discs which were all extremely successful. Impossible to live up to that. We don't do that to anybody else.

bought this last friday.... really like it

My favorite has to be DOA (the beat kills me), second fav has to be Empire State of Mind (the hook is great), and the thirds are tossed between What We Talkin Bout and Real as it gets.
