It's worth pointing out that a varying number of the "professional critics" on RottenTomatoes are college students and internet movie geeks who run their own criticism sites and therefore are "professional."

I mean, spookyjon has reviews at RT. I love him, but he's not a professional critic.

^^true, but you can select a tab that includes only the "top reviewers" which i think includes only professional critics from the bigger papers.

Although I do agree that the Jo(h)ns have better opinions than at least half of the RT critics.

I thought Doomsday was pretty fucking cool.

Not really good.

But definitely fun.

Yeah, Doomsday is quality.

It knows exactly what kind of movie it wants to be and it's a fine example of that kind of movie.

I actually think I laughed more during Doomsday (from intentional comedy moments...it's campy, not bad) than I did during any proper comedy this year.
