6/17/2008 2:56:09 PM
^^ seems like my ad block is working
6/17/2008 3:28:06 PM
couple of things i dont like/dont know how to get to work1. it wont let me have my right click gestures addon where you can hold right click and go left and you go back a page and all that good stuff2. when you have tabs open and you put the mouse over the tabs and scroll the mouse wheel it doesnt scroll through the tabs3. when you click down with the mouse wheel the scroll do-hicky doesnt come up and allow you to scroll really fast up or down the pageanyone know how to fix these things?
6/17/2008 3:33:50 PM
^#2, when you have multiple tabs open (like 15-20) and they span wider than your browser window, the scroll button scrolls through the tabs that are off the screen... that's probably why they don't scroll/open each tab#3, when i use my middle click, the scroll 'thingy' does come up and it does allow me to scroll fast, so idk.[Edited on June 17, 2008 at 3:37 PM. #2 would def annoy the shit out of me
6/17/2008 3:39:24 PM
^^ thank you! that makes me much happieri figured the first concern i had wouldnt be fixable until someone comes out with a new add on but i thought the second was typical for firefox. oh well if anyone knows how to get that working i would appreciate it.
6/17/2008 3:47:20 PM
I can see why people were complaining about the new address bar in the beta releases...
6/17/2008 3:48:29 PM
the new address bar drop-down menu is ANNOYING but you'll get used it, like anything else
6/17/2008 3:49:38 PM
Hmm....perhaps I was just using a very old version of adblock. What's the latest greatest version?
6/17/2008 4:01:35 PM
do you have ad block or ad block plus? i think ad block is obsolete.
6/17/2008 4:05:59 PM
just got back to my desk and picked this up... this thing FLIES
6/17/2008 4:10:41 PM
Original adblock...I think it was version 0.5.xxxxx
6/17/2008 4:13:25 PM
i used the override compatability featurenow my tab bar is gonedammit
6/17/2008 4:21:11 PM
i hate the address bar.It is terrible for message boards because it displays every thread URL first instead of the main page URL in the history.
6/17/2008 4:22:21 PM
you'll get used to it. i used a few of the betas, so its not biggie for me now, but i still find it difficult to see why they implemented such a tacky feature.
6/17/2008 4:24:40 PM
It takes getting used to - I hated it at first - but once you do, it's awesome.
6/17/2008 4:24:41 PM
yeah, i tend to favor it now, just because i am used to it, but not really for any other reason
6/17/2008 4:25:56 PM
i actually like the new address barwhile im an avid opera fan, i like how firefox's "smart" address bar works better than the similar one in the new version of opera. the one in opera not only indexes the url of the site, and the title, but every single word in each page you visit. it's overkill.
6/17/2008 6:15:29 PM
Help my firefox3 hates gmail how do i fix it... (it won't let me sign in...i think its something with the cookies)
