Treetwista spits out such senseless garbage, it's become annoying to have to respond to. It's like teaching math to a retarded 7-year old.

Look I understand that some of your family is or was in the military. Probably was.And you probably wrongly assume that I oppose war. I am not a pacifist. I fully support the war in Afghanistan which we are fucking up by overextending ourselves in Iraq. We should be fucking dominating Afghanistan to set an example in the region. The Iraq War is bullshit.

wow you're smart enough to come up with a strawman, congratulations
3/20/2008 10:26:50 AM
exactly what part of what you did was strictly democracy?you can protest under other governments too you know
3/20/2008 10:27:24 AM
twista's idea of political activism involves:(1) not voting(2) doing bong hits(3) being aggressively ignorant on the internets.keep doing what you're doing, terp. im glad you were there.
3/20/2008 10:29:41 AM
^^^ there is nothing straw man about that. A republican government requires an active polity. Dictatorships and despots rest on a populace who is content to seek their own personal short term interests at the expense of their long term liberty.]
3/20/2008 10:30:09 AM
It seems the Treetwista is intimidated by me for some reason. I didn't so much actively protest, more went and took pictures with the protest, and actively supported the people blockading the intersection. It was my choice. If you don't like it, fuck off. Yet this Treetwista toolbag comes out to write paragraphs about how what I did made no difference.
3/20/2008 10:34:36 AM
because freedom of speech=democracynothing has failed here. you took part in your right to free speech, and nobody did shit about it, or even knew of the protest on a national level. not hating or anything thats just how it goes. thats why i see it as a waste of time.(although if it was happening around the corner id go check it out too)[Edited on March 20, 2008 at 10:36 AM. Reason : .]
3/20/2008 10:34:43 AM
gg terpball for defending your free speech with this march. my 5 family members(cousins/uncles/brothers) that currently serve this in the armed forces overseas for this nation would look you point blank in the eye and say they are fighting for people like you so that you can do this. so it's all good. if you want to send them home, and make them feel as if they aren't accomplishing anything feel free to do sokeep up your march, b/c i'll be supporting their march against the powers of baghdad/ baidoa/ kabul/ tehran and anybody else who wants to take away YOUR right to march.
3/20/2008 10:36:11 AM
its an obvious strawman because i said nothing at all about "democracy being a failure"i said their trite and petty protests havent done jack shit which they haventand terpball is a toolbag for making a thread about this gay ass shit
3/20/2008 10:36:41 AM
its a core tenet of American democracyI can't tell if you're being sarcastic^^ couldn't we just fight them on the day they actually COME to take away my right to March? why all the belligerence?^ well if the government does not represent the will of the people then democracy must not be working, right?[Edited on March 20, 2008 at 10:40 AM. 3/20/2008 10:41:40 AM
^^ yes, like Franceor maybe Finland^you AREN'T protesting my protest, you're protesting my RIGHT to protestyou've also described my politics as "gay shit" in this thread so I'm pretty sure you've lost the moral high ground[Edited on March 20, 2008 at 10:42 AM. Reason : -]
yeah after people blocked intersections and created problems for the cityim talking about beforehand
3/20/2008 10:41:47 AM
^^^^ and the 3 downed apache helicopters in the original strike on baghdad were all over the news toothat doesn't mean we were losing the effort at all. news outlets thrive on delusioning people to get viewers.[Edited on March 20, 2008 at 10:42 AM. Reason : .]

some of the same people at the protest foolishly thinking their protest will stop the war or US troop occupation in Iraq are probably the same geniuses that thought they had a legitimate chance of impeaching Bush or Cheney over the last few years when the same delusional left wingers think they have the power to make a difference in this corrupt ass political system...get a fucking clue
3/20/2008 10:43:38 AM
didn't any of you guys here the clip they played last night on the news where some guy recorded obama about 6 months ago saying..."me and bush's views on handling the war are honestly not that much different"if any of you guys honestly believes hillary or obama are gonna tuck tail and run and let iran invade iraq you are out of your minds. b/c that's the day oil jumps to $200 a barrell.[Edited on March 20, 2008 at 10:45 AM. Obama said he's going to listen to the commanders/general/whatever the fuck on the ground as he withdraws droops. He also said Hillary would be an idiot if she didn't do the same. I am aware of this, and I agree with that policy.

3/20/2008 10:51:05 AM
What about the babies being born into poverty and aren't getting a fair chance at life? What about them? You're doing fine, obviously - and it isn't going to cost you any more after the gov't shifts some priorities around

3/20/2008 11:25:57 AM
^^well Snewf you have always been a proponent of unjust police tactics and judicial processes^I don't really care about China and TibetI'm talking about modern day war protestsprotests a few decades back used to be people who cared to make a difference...not these days...not these protests...dont confuse what i'm saying with me supposedly not wanting equal rights for women, minorities, etc...i'm specifically talking about protests in america in the last 5 years, specifically pertaining to the iraq war and trying to impeach bush and cheney[Edited on March 20, 2008 at 11:29 AM.
