I've never made it through the Death Star level without dying at least once. Even if you manage not to get ass-raped too badly, there's so little health in that level that you'll get worn down to near death before you find some.I've got to hand it to the writers for this game. They've managed to craft a love story that's even less believable than Anakin and Padme's relationship.

that first room isn't infinite spawn by the way
9/28/2008 4:20:00 PM
^ It was when I played it. I was in that room for more than an hour and new groups would appear out of the spawn closets as soon as I finished the previous groups.

I've been playing this game the last few days...pretty cool stuff...I beat it on 'Medium' but I'm gonna go back through and beat it on the hardest level
12/15/2008 5:56:36 PM
^ That top difficult level is vastly harder than the proceeding difficulties. You get almost zero health regeneration.
12/15/2008 6:39:58 PM
yeah my plan is to play the TIE Fighter facility a whole bunch and get my stats up before I get too far in the game
12/15/2008 6:53:51 PM
plan is working so far but its slow

I'm thinking of renting this for the break if I can find a place around here that rents games.
12/20/2008 12:04:35 PM
gameflyI'm Big Business and i approved this message.
12/20/2008 12:05:01 PM
I've been thinking of starting gamefly, but I dunno if I'll be too busy next semester to really get my worth out of it. I'll look into it today, since I'm not doing shit. Do you use it?
12/20/2008 12:06:54 PM
what is the point of saving your game if it's going to restart me at the beginning of the level anyway?
12/20/2008 9:55:27 PM
In retrospect I should have rented this game. Replayability is pretty low. Yeah you can go back and max out all of your force powers and stuff, but after a while you become so powerful that combat becomes a big fat joke.
12/21/2008 12:04:11 AM
i just got this on ebay for 35 bucks, so whenever my 360 returns i'll be playing the crap out of it
1/6/2009 11:42:51 PM
you may have over paid =x.
1/6/2009 11:47:17 PM
unless you got it for free, you overpaid
1/7/2009 1:45:00 AM
^3x I was wondering when you were going to start posting in here
1/7/2009 11:35:22 AM
1/7/2009 11:42:18 AM
^Agreed. It was too short, but for the weekend it took me to beat it, it was really awesome.
1/7/2009 11:57:21 AM
then I went through on Sith Lord difficulty or whatever the hardest difficulty is, and I got all of the holocrons...black lightsaber ftw
1/7/2009 12:40:07 PM
Has anyone played the new downloadable level(s). Is it worth the money?
1/7/2009 3:43:48 PM
I was pretty disappointed - I heard all the mediocre reviews and scores and told myself that I've thoroughly enjoyed some pretty mediocre SW/LucasArts titles and that I would probably find a lot to enjoy in this game.First off it was exactly half as long as it should have been. The point where it ended I was pretty much left hanging going WTF. What is currently the EndGame should be the halfpoint, where you choose a path (light/dark) develop unique powers and break out of what was the very linear gameplay up to that point. I guess I expected something more similar to the KotOR series where you're pretty linear at the beginning then you choose a path and get freedom and develop based upon that path. I guess they're somewhat constricted because of the storyline they chose and the fact that story post TFU is already so established. That you basically replay 3 of the boards that they pass off as new stages was also pretty weak. In a game already lacking in overall length, the fact that you replayed so many landscapes was like a kick in the groin.

^ That's a fair assessment of the game. However, you can't deny the awesomeness of laying waste to a room full of dudes with a whirlwind of force lightening and flurry of light saber acrobatics.
1/8/2009 1:26:17 AM
on the 2nd level, when you are at the first part where you use the 3 hyperdrives to blow a hole into the mountain and you are fighting the guys on the skiffs, you can pick up an X-Wing from the lava...can you do anything with it?
1/8/2009 3:42:09 PM
^ It's there to make a jump that you would other wise have to swim in goo to make.
1/8/2009 4:12:34 PM
oh ok i guess i just got around that area other waysthe jump, jump, dash, force dash combo can get you long distances
1/8/2009 4:50:18 PM
ttt

Anyone dl the new Tatooine mission for either PS3 or XBox? I just beat it last night and had a great time doing so! Evidentally they are doing a whole alternate universe type thing. Here's a good link:http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/starwars2007/news.html?sid=6214122It may be somewhat old but it was news to me.[Edited on August 31, 2009 at 3:39 PM. Reason : sp]

dispite how fairly good the game was...it was a pretty big disappointmentthey should of went a little GTA with the gameafter you're done it so fucking boring

I waited for the PC version of the game. Man is it terrible. I believe they rushed out a half baked port, which is strange considering that the thing came out on consoles over a year ago. I guess they've only been working on the port for a few months. The system requirements are staggering. The main standout - the installation takes up 24 Gigs of hard drive space. I guess they decided to fight piracy by not compressing any of their data files. The game also starts to slow to a crawl the longer you play it. A quick restart of the game fixes the issue, must be a memory leak in there somewhere.I've played the first 3 levels and don't get what all they hype was about. This one is is definitely a beat once game, especially considering the hard drive real estate it takes up.
