^ That article makes it out as if he's earning a living from his guitar hero, but the only thing it says that he's won is something like $1000 and some chick-fil-a sandwhiches.

Official confirmation for Tool: http://kotaku.com/5046518/tool-confirmed-for-guitar-hero-world-tourI wish there were some tracks from Undertow and Aenima.
9/10/2008 12:27:18 PM
that has to be a downloaded pack. 3 of the same band on the regular tracks is weird. but vicarious, parabola, schism are all great choices imo.
9/10/2008 12:43:32 PM
It's about damn time.
9/10/2008 4:34:26 PM
anyone know if theres gonna be a demo on xbox live for this game?and any clue of the prices?
10/10/2008 7:40:22 PM
no demo and prices have been out forever, $190 for the full package
10/10/2008 8:14:03 PM
^7000do you know if its possible to get the game/guitar combo without the other shit
10/10/2008 8:20:13 PM
^Yeah that is what I was thinking too. I'd like to get just the game and guitar (Since I hate the Rock Band guitars) and the new Guitar Hero guitar looks badass.
10/11/2008 1:24:00 AM
so do you guys look up anything like on gamestop or best buy or cc?
10/11/2008 8:26:16 AM
10/11/2008 8:40:40 AM

"Love Spreads" Stone Roses sweet tune
10/22/2008 12:57:14 PM
10/22/2008 1:02:31 PM
Nah, that song is actually pretty fun to play. I'm glad they went with the unplugged version though. I can't think of too many other acoustic songs in RB or GH. It is the 2nd song you get to play in the game though, so it's one of the easier songs for sure.
10/22/2008 3:57:36 PM
It's weird. They have these sections where you are holding a long note and then you add another note but keep holding the first note. I can't quite get used to doing that. Building up a power chord one note at a time like that is not natural (in Guitar Hero world anyway). At least they made it like RB where you can still collect star power while you're using it too. I hated that about GH3.
10/22/2008 5:59:42 PM
Other notes*Thankfully they got rid of those gay ass battles from GH3. They still have something like them but instead of having to "win" them, the guy you're battling comes out and you just do a duet type thing with him on stage. If you finish you win. It's actually pretty sweet.*BILLY CORGAN!!! *Playing a Tool song is so awesome. Just like at a Tool concert, there's no band on stage and the whole background is this weird psychedelic swirly light show type setup. It's very neat.*Stranglehold is a very long song.*Fuck, my wrist really hurts.
10/22/2008 9:44:05 PM
so you have it? how hard is it comparable to gh3
10/22/2008 10:03:05 PM
About the same, maybe a little bit easier? It's hard to say exactly. I'm making runs on this that I could never make on Rock Band. And something tells me that I didn't all of the sudden get that much better.
10/22/2008 11:34:55 PM
anyone have theirs yet? pick mine up at 12! ds
10/26/2008 9:47:08 AM
yeah we got it last night...guitar is easier this time around compared to gh3 and while i like the drums, the yellow pad is terrible. you have to beat the shit out of it to get it to register...on the official forums it seems like theres major issues with the yellow and orange pads
10/26/2008 10:30:50 AM
I got mine last night, and this morning it seems there is something wrong with the guitar, it acts as if someone is playing the wrong notes which causes us to fail before the song even begins
10/26/2008 11:32:52 AM
anyone tried the song creator yet?
10/26/2008 11:43:22 AM
i got it last night. i had more trouble with the blue pad than the yellow. i went into the song creator for a bit but didnt really try to do anything.
10/26/2008 12:13:11 PM
if you are having trouble with the guitar, remember you have to hold the sync button on the Wii while inserting the neck of the guitar into the body...it shows you this on the huge fold-out instructional poster...but is easily overlooked
10/26/2008 12:34:05 PM
im returning this and getting the guitar + game bundle...stuff is just too broken and activision wants you to pay and send it in unlike rb which is free and they will ship you a new one firstgamestop will prob only give me store credit so whatever...good things there's new games coming out
10/26/2008 2:36:59 PM
i got mine at walmart so hopefully i can work some sort of return if mine sucks. we didnt really have any problems playin with it last night...seems the biggest concern is drums though, and i was on drums playin on medium, so i'm probably not going to expose too many weaknesses.
10/26/2008 3:56:50 PM
Question. Will there be DLC for this game on XBox Live (New Songs and such?)
10/26/2008 4:46:16 PM
Duh.]
10/26/2008 4:47:24 PM
i just got the guitar/game bundle...love it
10/26/2008 6:30:44 PM

I beat it on hard. Not gonna do expert. Should I wait for the drumset to come out (PS2) or sell this shit now?
11/4/2008 2:15:12 PM
^^ hot
11/4/2008 3:40:10 PM
Is GH IV > RB II?
11/4/2008 7:35:15 PM
Not even close.
11/4/2008 7:58:46 PM
Neighbors got it. How many "sets" are there? I never really got into GH3 that much, but i was able to play like the first 4-5 sets of songs on expert on the guitar. From what i remember guitar hero 3 was more challenging. I guess i just haven't gotten to the hard stuff yet.
11/5/2008 2:25:45 AM
there's a lot of sets, probably about 30-35. they get longer as you progress. the difficulty is about the same as guitar hero III, except for the battles(they are insanely easy now). The only tracks I had trouble blowing through on expert were Hot For Teacher, Satch Boogie, and Never Too Late.
11/5/2008 10:22:47 AM
i thought gh3 was a joke til I hit raining blood and the duel vs the devil.
11/5/2008 1:38:53 PM
There are new "styles" of notes though, which are kinda fun. For instance, you'd hold the green note, then add the blue note "hammer-on" style so you're now holding two notes, then maybe tap the yellow note, and play all three to end.
