and even if he does have money, it's against campaign finance law to transfer campaign money to another candidate.

when is the last time Iowa actually selected the eventual winner? I mean, it seems they always pick the eventual looser....will be interesting to see what NH does, if Hill looses NH to him, Obama probably will win SC then, and then it comes to Super Tuesday which is not auto wins for Obama even if he has won all the others.

In predicted the winner in 2000 with Bush as well as 76 with Carter (although the majority were uncommitted). I am not including races where someone ran unopposed. [Edited on January 4, 2008 at 12:17 AM. Reason : a]

1/4/2008 12:18:23 AM
There's still some delegates unassigned, I think. CNN said 45 out of 52, if I remember correctly.

1/4/2008 3:22:28 AM
^^^ yeah, Bush is a horrible fucking speaker; but I can't help but wonder if he isn't like Edward Norton in Primal Fear who just keeps affecting this ignorance as a cover. Hell, he managed to fake being from Texas even though he has some of the bluest New England blood in the nation.
1/4/2008 7:20:38 AM
I'd say both Bush and Obama think very carefully about the way they speak.

Giulianis dream is coming true... 3 way split of delegates after NH looks to be set in stone. He will walk away from super duper tuesday the big winner.

Doesn't it have something to do with superdelegates too? I don't know if those are included in those numbers, but I know Hillary has a ton of them already pledged to her.

but anyway, the actual delegates haven't mattered for a presidential nomination in more than 25 years. it would only matter if there was still a battle going on come summer time which is pretty much never going to happen.[Edited on January 4, 2008 at 7:14 PM. Reason : .]
