yeah, a good episode with a sad ending. just furthering along the story and setting up for a finale to the series, and possibly one for all or most of the characters

Just rewatched the eppisode. What are the odds that Cox is named the replacement for Kelso?

Next new episode is scheduled for April 10th. apparently there are only 4 episodes left this season according to http://www.thefutoncritic.com/guide.aspx?id=strike_scripted

Any idea if they are going to try and rush the end of the series, or maybe do a brief 8th season?

I heard they aren't going to rush the end. Zach Braff wants to finish the season the way it was intended - he said in an interview the episodes will be made, if they aren't on tv they will be on the dvds.

I seriously can't believe there is a possibility that the finale of Scrubs will not be shown on TV.

So, it ABC's lineup so good that they have to outsource their shows to other networks to get them aired?

"Veteran comedy "Scrubs" is caught in a tug-of-war between NBC and ABC. ABC is in negotiations to pick up 18 episodes of the series from Disney corporate sibling ABC Studios, which has produced the comedy for NBC since 2001.

NBC brass are said to have been caught off guard when the Hollywood Reporter broke the story earlier on Thursday.

A network insider said NBC is still in "first negotiation period" -- a period of exclusive negotiations -- with ABC Studios and hasn't given the studio official consent to take the series elsewhere."

TV studio != network. There are NBC Universal shows on FOX (House), 20th Century Fox shows on NBC (My Name is Earl), and CBS (How I Met Your Mother), CBS Paramount shows on NBC (Medium), etc etc etc. Its really nothing out of the ordinary.

^No, it wont be. The producers of the show didnt like how the show looked in 16:9, plus the sets arent really in the condition to be presented in HD apparently.

Roughly:

Turk: how much you wanna bet they're back together within a week?
Carla: you think? the people won't like that.

according to the NBC scrubs forum

That's about what I got from it, although my Spanish is a little rusty and I wasn't paying super close attention.

They were definitely talking about JD and Eliot getting back together, but I'm not clear on the details.

Just saw it tonight. My favorite scene was the one at the end with Dr. Kelso eating the cake out of the garbage and saying "Don't look at me." haha great stuff!

Also, that was pretty cool to leave the subtitles out of the last conversation btw Carla and Turk if that's what they were really saying.

Predictions:
They finally get Cox to try and help Kelso, but it doesn't work. Kelso retires and Cox takes his job.
JD and Eliot get back together. (duh)
Turk thinks his one nut makes him sterile, Carla gets pregnant again anyways.
Janitor reveals that his name is Neil Joshua Flynn.

That would explain why the Janitor doesn't like to be called Josh. I don't like to be called by my middle name either.

Someone told me ABC is looking to pick up Scrubs for an 8th season... just a rumor?

Anyway, it would suck ass if my two favorite shows on TV right now were both done after this season. How I Met Your Mother hasn't been renewed yet as far as I know... but it has been getting better ratings recently, so there is hope.
