i was talking to this chick last night from chicago (who is engaged to my buddy from charlotte)...i asked her to say 'mary' 'marry' and 'merry'...'mary' and 'marry' sounded the same but 'merry' sounded more like "myeery"

also 'caught' and 'cot'...'caught' sounded about right but 'cot' sounded like 'cat'
