yeah, i actually get EZTV from tvrss.net. i use "TVShows" on my Mac, which will download the torrent automatically when it becomes available (it should have been here already, actually) then Azureus will open and download it, and it will be waiting for me by morning

I'm hoping that they include some humor about the writers strike when they come back.
12/14/2007 1:00:23 PM
I think a new episode is on!
1/10/2008 8:40:12 PM
yeah, it is! anyone know why? Was this one written before the strike, but just not played last year?Tina Fey is f'ing smoking in that black dress.....ah, from Wiki[quote]On December 14, 2007 NBC announced that 30 Rock would air their final produced episode on January 10, 2008 so it can start airing "Celebrity Apprentice." It is not known at this point whether the show will resume production as the Thursday night schedule doesn't list any further airings or reruns[59].[quote][Edited on January 10, 2008 at 8:48 PM. craziest episode yet
1/11/2008 2:20:48 PM
Just pulled it off the DVR...holy fuck that was funny. Kenneth & Tracy FTW, especially with a song & dance number. I also liked the narration of the German sitcom.
1/11/2008 3:05:21 PM
yep, even better on the 2nd viewing. 30 Rock is, hands down, the funniest show on (network) TV. No question about it
1/12/2008 12:14:29 AM
Love love love the show. Like The Office, its just amazing how many people can not comprehend its humor. Scrubs too, I think most people dont find the funny unless they have a laugh track to cue them when to laugh, which is really really sad.If you watch these shows with someone who is used to traditional sitcoms, and watch them when something funny happens, its like they are almost confused when something funny happens. "Well I wanna laugh, but there is no laugh track to give me a hint to do so, so I am just gonna sit here with a straight face and pretend its not funny. I dont wanna laugh at something stupid that I am not supposed to and have people laugh at me for being an idiot for thinking that was funny"[Edited on January 12, 2008 at 12:56 AM. Reason : /]

I would have like to have seen more craziness from MILF Island. Overall, i thought that part was kind of tame. and the other two plots were ok, but they were more borderline normal-sitcom, and not really out-of-the-box like 30 Rock normally is. Pete getting his hand stuck in the vending machine didn't really serve any purpose except a couple sight gags and throwaway jokes, and has been done by a dozen other sitcoms already. Then the main plot with the gossip column was kind of obvious - 1) after a while it was obvious that Liz was the one who said it, then 2) after we found out it was Liz, it was obvious that Jack knew it was her already. overall, middle of the pack episode. But it is still good to have it back on

the joke where Tracy came in with the Cathy comic had me laughing real hard
4/11/2008 11:08:09 AM
I thought the episode was pretty lame overall
4/11/2008 11:29:13 AM
^^^ what?i was saying - even with MILF Island plot (an excellent concept that was hilarious when they just mentioned it in passing back on the Seinfeld episode), i think they could have done much more with that idea. then the other 2 plot-lines were pretty run of the mill sitcom staples.
4/11/2008 11:48:46 AM
Yeah, other than MILF Island (with its Erection Cove, LOL) run of the mill episode.
4/11/2008 1:54:27 PM
Did anyone notice at the end when the MILF Island was ending on the TV, that had Jerry Seinfeld listed as one of the producers.I think he and Jack had a conversation in the episode Seinfeld was on about how a show like Milf Island would be an awesome idea.Obviously not something funny, but it was kind of a cool hidden gag.
4/11/2008 3:56:10 PM
I'm relatively sure that "MILF Island" is a registered trademark of Gobias Industries.
4/11/2008 4:11:57 PM
^^ yeah, i saw that. They flashed his name a lot faster than the other names. During the first episode of this season, "Seinfeld Vision", they talked about digitally inserting Seinfeld into MILF Island, and the promo at that point was something like "10 hot moms. 25 sweaty 8th grade boys. 1 comedian. It's MILF Island!". I imagine they got a lot of really positive feedback for that one mention and wanted to develop it further.
