Go to a mormon wedding. Thats an interesting experience. There was no drinking, no music, and no dancing.

Throw 100 random people in a room with some crackers and thats pretty much how awkward it was for 4 hours.

I had a Mormon wedding and there was no drinking, yes music, and yes dancing... so you got one out of three right (in our case at least).

^Yeah. Got married in D.C. and we had a ring ceremony a week later in a local chapel for all the family that couldn't go to the wedding in the temple.

My sister is getting married in december and its going to be a dry wedding. It was going to cost an extra $2500 if there was alcohol because she would have to have a security guard for every 50 or so people. And the wedding is at a winery of all places

i think you should do what the majority of people, including you and your bridge/groom want

if both of your families are very strict religious folks (or whatever) and none really drink, then sure go for the dry wedding

if you and your fiancee and their families enjoy a few drinks at such a celebratory time, then dont have a dry wedding

just dont fuck over the 90% of the people at your wedding (including you and your bride/groom) just because 1 of the 500 guests is an alcoholic
