What Mr. "Fair and Balanced" doesn't want to show are the stats or articles concerning carjackings or muggings, but then again someone might be mugged on public sidewalks, so maybe we should privatize those too.

This thread is riddled with...crimes against logic.
7/11/2007 8:24:07 AM
its funny how hooksaw gets thoroughly PWNT by everyone here, so then he gets all jokey and claims he was trolling.even though the entire thread -- his anti-social politics, faulty logic, and his tenacity to stick to the attack even though it's completely flawed -- is common to all of his threads.like his political hero, he just cant ever admit defeat.

I am just pissed because there is no reasonable way for me to utilize publix transportation in my neighborhood. It would literally take me an hour and a half to travel about 12 miles.Jeebus that is terrible.

^ You haven't "pwnt" shit.(1) Riddled: means "to fill or affect with (something undesirable, weakening, etc.): a government riddled with graft." And you cannot disprove that public transportation has been affected by and/or weakened by crime. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/riddled(2) This was not trolling. It was simply a thread to draw out the worst in you moonbats that believe public transportation is a panacea--and it worked. Many of you were rabidly foaming, as expected. At no point did I say that I didn't want public transportation or that public transportation is not part of a healthy current and future US infrastructure--in fact, I said quite the opposite. But your fevered little minds didn't allow you to read the facts as they were presented, did they? That is the point and it's horribly typical of you.

this thread is such a complete and total failure, it embarrasses hooksaw to keep seeing it. hence he has nothing left to do but point out people's typos.

^ Your bus is here, joe_shithead.
7/23/2007 4:12:13 PM
You can't just keep posting random articles about crimes that have happened on public transportation and expect that to prove anything. The bottom line is that it is statistically safer to use public transportation than it is to drive. You are more likely to die or be seriously injured in a car accident than you are using public transporation. You might be more likely to be felt up or robbed using the subway, but if that's the alternative to dying or being put in a wheelchair, guess which one I'm going with?Your stories don't matter. Let's just say for numbers sake and since I don't feel like looking it up, there have been 100 instances of problems with public transportation, and 1000 with driving in cars. You can waste your time posting all 100 public transportation stories when no one on the other side of the argument is going to waste their time finding all 1000 driving stores...but guess what, that won't change the statistics or make you right.Until you can find a statistic that proves that far worse things happen in public transportation than happen in cars, you lose.
7/23/2007 4:31:04 PM
Public transportation is riddled with crime.
7/23/2007 4:37:03 PM
Pulbic transportation is riddled with crime, but it is a far safer way to commute than driving.Jury seems to still be out on what the definition of riddled is, but would you at least agree to the above statement?
7/23/2007 4:41:53 PM

7/23/2007 4:50:28 PM
^ dude, dont bother. you cant get a rational answer out of this guy in this thread. he's been pwnt so many ways to sunday here, its a public embarrassment.Look....I use public transportation in Seattle, a rather large city, every day.i take it to work and back almost every day.i often take my 2 year old to the downtown museums/parks/play areas/beach using public transportation.ive never seen a single crime on a bus or at the stops -- even the downtown stops -- in 4 years.public transportation is NOT "riddled" with crime.but you, hooksaw, are a clown and a buffoon. you're a caricature, on a similar level as salisburyboy[Edited on July 23, 2007 at 4:55 PM. i dont profess to know everything. and i have admitted when i was wrong.you, OTOH, have some sort of bizarre psychological handicap that forces you to view everything in the world as some socialist conspiracy to force everyone into some imaginary "big brother" statist institution and confiscate all the property from good Patriots like yourself.i mean, what the fuck do you know about public transportation? youre some ex-jailer from Butner, NC. your understanding of public transportation comes from minimal experience with buses in Greensboro and Wolfline.i mean seriously, dude. get a grip.
7/23/2007 5:05:41 PM
I will take the fact that you are ignoring the question to mean that you agree with the statement. So now that we have established that public transportation is safer than driving, what is the point of putting this thread in the soap box?Public transportation has crime, ok. Maybe it's even "riddled" with it, although people will disagree, but in the end that comes down to the meaning of the word. But let's just say for a second that it is indeed riddled with crime, but still safer than driving. WHAT IS THE POINT OF POSTING THAT IN THE SOAP BOX?
