Ok first off...I live in Greenville. Parkers is not that good...I'm sorry, its just not. Catch up with the times and at least take a fucking credit card. It's Greenville...not bumfuck middle'o nowhere where you have no phone lines.Whoever gave props to that deli off of Arlington is 100% correct on that one...not only is their menu great but the desserts are unbelievable...sent from heaven.

^^^^ I agree on the barbecue, if you're in Greenville you might as well make the 10 minute drive to Ayden and go to Bum's. And I know a lot of people think the Skylight Inn is better but personally I don't like skin in my barbecue.

Ivar's Salmon House in Seattle, WA.I can't eat fish but the steak and mash-potatos I had there were better than anywhere else. And my friend said the salmon was good, too.

There's this place in Durham called Meelos that has great healthy, cheap lunches. I love the place.

Portland Grille in Wilmington. The glazed antelope over mashed sweet potatoes is easily one of the best meals that I've ever had. If you pair up venison and sweet potatoes at Ruth's Chris its almost as good.

Kind of getting out of range, but the topic said "anywhere."NYC - Gascogne http://www.gascognenyc.com/The food is very good to excellent, service is outstanding, and the ambiance is unbeatable. Whenever we go I try to talk the owner into moving south. If you go when the weather is nice, the garden is beautiful. You won't believe you are in Manhattan. They have a great prix fixe deal, but we always end up ordering from the menu and spending too much money. It's not too far from Broadway if you want to avoid Times Square for your pre-theatre meal.
