thats because critics are movie snobs who cant enjoy a blood bath of a movie. It has to have a plot and a subplot and meaning and blah blah blah blah blah.Going to go tonight. cant waitPAGE 3!!!!!!!![Edited on January 26, 2008 at 12:18 PM. Reason : 3]

Is it just me or do critics tend to give awesome movies bad reviews and boring movies (especially the artsy-fartsy kind) great reviews?
1/26/2008 2:23:06 PM
wow. after reading some of the reviews over on rottentomatoes i dont know wtf the critics were expecting from a rambo movie.
1/26/2008 2:35:40 PM
^^ need some clarification / examples of 'artsy' movies you didnt like. because otherwise you sound like youre just whining that you cant get into good movies.but as a whole critics are pretty terrible[Edited on January 26, 2008 at 2:40 PM. Reason : ]

I have found that on most movies (except ones that EVERYONE likes like Terminator 2 or EVERYONE hates like Date Movie) I completely disagree with the critics. When I saw the trailers for Rambo, I knew not to expect a deep plot with incredible acting and CGI. I knew it was a pure action movie... that is exactly what I wanted in the movie, and that is exactly what I got. If it had been promoted as something other than pure action, then yeah, I would probably be disappointed, but as a movie where you don't have to think and all you have to do is watch and say "oh shit that was awesome", this movie gets an A+.props to Rambo for setting off that WW2 bomb btw, that was great.
1/26/2008 4:47:31 PM
i def want to see this some time just because, well, its freaking rambo
1/26/2008 4:49:19 PM
i don't think i've ever seen a movie where i hated the bad guys more. that made it even better to see rambo fuck their shit up!! my adrenaline was so pumped up at the end of this movie i felt like i wanted to fight someone haha. i need to see this again, kudos to stallone
1/26/2008 6:28:30 PM
enjoyed the shit out of this movie. that said, i am fully expecting and hoping to see Rambo: Final Exams, as he takes on the rigors of Yuma Community College.
1/26/2008 7:31:35 PM
My apologies to anyone in the theatre with me for laughing my ass off at Midnight Meat Train! How the HELL did the studio approve that?!
1/26/2008 9:03:44 PM
i always love when a movie gives you exactly what you want/expect.
1/26/2008 9:32:00 PM
this movie was badass. plain and simplei had a hard time from laughing at the bad guys getting their shit blown up everywherego see it!
1/26/2008 11:26:16 PM
best movie everI now know what a .50 cal machine gun and sniper rifle does to the human body. And I still want one.[Edited on January 27, 2008 at 3:55 PM. Reason : ff]

just went and saw it.... great movie, exactly what i expected
1/27/2008 4:41:55 PM
Wish it was a little longer. Maybe a bit more ingenuity in a few of the killings. Loved the bow and arrow shots.Never seen so many heads go POOF evar.
1/27/2008 6:13:00 PM
Went to the theater dressed in camo and red bandanas w/ about 7 other friends, and we get there, and 10+ other people are dressed up in the exact same outfit. RAM - BO chants were going off before the previews, cried laughing from Midnight Meat Train, and it was just an awesome atmosphere for the movie. Exactly what I expected and hoped for.....dvd will be owned.
1/28/2008 9:35:41 AM
CAN NOT FREAKIN WAIT
1/28/2008 9:44:41 AM
I saw it twice this weekend. Final kill is awesome. Everything about this movie is exactly what I wanted and expected (better than I expected). Screw the critics, apparently seeing a childhood hero back ripping bad guys in half isn't their bag.
1/28/2008 10:39:39 AM
Movie would have been better if it had any of the following:A counter in the corner for the # of heads blown off.A counter in the corner for the # of limbs blown off.A counter in the corner for the # people killed.Or all of the above.
1/28/2008 4:15:20 PM
did you not see this?
1/28/2008 4:52:30 PM
Haha no I didn't. Thats awesome. Now we just need the limb counter.
1/29/2008 9:30:02 AM
saw it tonight! It was awesome. To the point, no useless dialog, raw action. Definitely was badass. Glad sly kept his shirt...his body in Rocky Balboa was grosser than all this gore combined.and with the throat rip, this solidifies a place in my favorite movies right beside Road House.
2/3/2008 12:32:17 AM
Was just as absurd as it was the first time I saw it.
2/3/2008 8:57:23 AM
blew me away. action was better than or equal to 300
2/13/2008 1:29:58 AM
just saw it today...my friend said it was 10/10....i dont agree...i'd give it a solid 8 or so...a little on the short side(87 minutes)...the gore was a little too overdone imo....had some stereotypical type stuff but overall still def. watchable
3/23/2008 2:31:22 AM
As soon as school lets up on me after wednesday, I am probably going to finally see this at the buck fifty.
3/23/2008 2:20:49 PM
it certainly doesn't fail to deliver the kill
3/23/2008 2:34:28 PM
So I here Rambo's latest trip to Burma is being blamed on a cyclone.Odd how the media twists the facts.
5/8/2008 9:40:49 AM
if anyone wants to see the original First Blood on the big screen, it'll be playing in theaters on May 15th
5/8/2008 12:45:57 PM
I have to wait until May 27 to get the DVD.
5/8/2008 12:48:42 PM
that movie was sweet, i am so getting the DVD
5/8/2008 1:02:01 PM
Nobody acknowledged my excellent joke referring to the cyclone that killed tens of thousands of people, and then I make it sound like its because of rambo going back. Its funnier when you explain things.
5/8/2008 4:32:02 PM
RAMBO COMES OUT ON DVD MAY 27th!!!1and ^ ahem
5/20/2008 9:32:07 PM
i will acknowledge that you did indeed tell a joke, that can not be denied
5/20/2008 9:49:35 PM
5/21/2008 3:28:52 PM
just started watchingand I must say....award winning dialogue
6/3/2008 12:48:31 AM
people who pay attention to the dialogue and judge it on that are missing the point of the Rambo movies
6/3/2008 1:02:45 AM
There's dialogue in Rambo movies?
6/3/2008 1:19:40 AM
just finished itfucking awesome (dialogue aside)
6/3/2008 2:20:06 AM
6/3/2008 2:20:26 AM
i think they did a good job with his look....he ages better than harrison ford
6/3/2008 5:12:48 AM
i actually disagree. to me it looks like sly's face has gotten fatter and his nose is weird now, like he's actually spent a lifetime boxing. harrison has some wrinkles, but for the most part looks the same
6/3/2008 6:42:56 AM
harrison has look the same for 30 years
6/3/2008 1:29:11 PM
How is this movie not more popular? This might have been the best Rambo yet and I liked all of them.
6/4/2008 2:46:20 AM
i REALLY wanted to see this, but my wife hates stuff like rambo
6/4/2008 9:14:13 AM
6/4/2008 10:29:58 AM
lotta dead kids in this jammy
6/4/2008 7:15:37 PM
