Im posting this again in case people are wondering and don't feel like searching:

There are 2 options:

1.You can get a digital copy of the 10 track album for any amount you want (even free if you want). This comes out on October 10th.

2.You can get a digital copy of the 10 track album, the CD version, and the vinyl version. You also get the 8 extra tracks on CD and vinyl as well. The digital download comes out on October 10th. The other things will be mailed to you in early December. There are no shipping costs. Its just 40 pounds which is around $81.


And yes. I ordered and got my confirmation by 10pm last night.

the ONLY thing I don't like about this is that "Down is the New Up" and "4 Minute Warning", what I think are two of the best tracks on the record from seeing them live last summer and having soundboard quality tracks of all the new ones, are being held back until the full release in December.

Those two songs are so very good, they need to let everyone hear them now!!

If you've heard any of the new live material, it certainly shouldn't be "blind" faith. If these new tracks are anything remotely like they are/were live, then, this one could be the best since OK Computer.

well, this is weird. I was going to link the page http://lders.nl where I got all of the live recordings of these tracks about a year ago. I noticed last month it was down, and then today, it sends you straight to the "In Rainbows" main page.

Pretty cool, but, I guess that link will no longer be of any help. The friendly folks at atease will be able to hook you up with soundboard quality live versions, or I can try to put together a zip file of most all of them in the next couple of days.

Hell, we're only a little over a week away from the real thing, so, I'm not sure I should bother.

i just checked my junk mail and it had 2 emails about it.... one only had a subject line titled in rainbows and the other said waste store order # in the subject line but there wasn't any type of message. anyways, it says 0 orders placed at this time on waste

^^ I got an e-mail from Waste with the order number as the subject line. When I logged into Waste, it said 0 orders. However, when I went back to the e-mail and highlighted the entire body of the e-mail, it showed up as my confirmation number and as something telling me they would e-mail further download directions. Basically, what happened was they sent me an email that was white text on a white background. So, I had to highlight it to read the text. I know that sounds bizarre... but see if that works

Damnit, I come back to look at the 10 tracks on the album again, and remain in disbelief at their failure to include "Down is the New Up" and "4 Minute Warning", especially the former. I really feel as though those two tracks are needed to complete that album.

We'll see how it sounds, though. I cannot fucking wait!

As of right now the only way to legally obtain the second CD material is through ordering the Discbox. However, that might change when they release the CD through a label.
