Well from my perspective it very well could have sounded and nobody would have heard it over the deafening roar of the rushing crowd exploding everywhere

it definitely sounded at some point, because I remember hearing it on TV and thinking "AWESOME!!!"

Yeah, that shit is old school. I remember "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash saying that shit back in the day.

This shit was pretty annoying. I'd like to think we're doing a little better these days.

WITH still needs to go. Starting 5 intro video is way too long, the crowd gets awkwardly quiet waiting for it to end.

Well heres a new one...at some point in the middle of this season, they moved the first half under-4 timeout cheer (cheerleaders spell out "STATE" on the floor, band plays Red and White) to sometime in the second half. This cheer has been in that spot for as long as I remember, and they still do it at the correct timeout for womens games, so I assume this is some Arena crap...so that we can run some exciting ads or toss out some crappy tshirts for the unwashed masses.

Heh this thread is fun.Looking back at it, the S-T-A-T-E thing definitely moved to the first called coaches timeout of the second half (there's nine media timeouts per game, the first called of the second half will always be a full timeout no matter if the coach wants a :30), but I can't see any particular reason that it would have... the only thing that's gone in that slot for most of the late season games is fan cam type stuff, nothing that requires any cheerleader interaction where they would have to be elsewhere in the arena, or a commercial for that matter... their marketing team has definitely gotten better from these 2007-ish games where there were a lot of commercials.
