I agree completely with StillFuchsia in this thread. The main problem I see with the woman having all the responsibility is that actions need to have consequences. It will become way to easy for a guy to just say "Hey, she can always get abortion" and not face any consequences for it.Same reason why I favor restrictions on abortions in some cases, when a woman is having multiple abortions just for the hell of it because she doesnt want to use bc, she needs to go ahead and get her damn tubes tied.

so you dont believe that men and women are equalgot it

in my mind the ideal law is this...If one parent wants to keep the kid, then the other has to help support it.Both sides need to agree for the abortion if there is one. People need to live with the consequences of their actions

so if the father wants the kid the mother has to have it and pay child support to the father and babyim ok with that

As long as there is no extreme risk to the mother during pregnancy though...in that regard yes, the mother does have more rights than the father. Thats it.[Edited on December 1, 2006 at 9:27 PM. Reason : a]

this is a silly method of male birth control... a drug which interferes with the contraction of muscles sounds suspiciously like it could have a number of distressing side effects. however, it would make practice of tantric sex a lot easier, a lot more men would be walking around thinking they are god, haha. in china many men use the extract of cotton root bark which contains a polyphenol called gossypol which inhibits sperm production. however researchers stopped evaluating it for western use in the 1980's because a significant number of men cannot fully recover their reproductive potential after ceasing to take the drug. now they are investigating another traditional chinese medicinal plant called le gong teng which appears to be fully reversible.

^^pregnancies are not always from a relationship, so yes im in favor of equalityif my position is so wrong then my logic should be easy to attack, yet no one has even tried.

^Your logic is completely sound, and its something i've preached for a long time, and i have as of yet heard any refute it with a statement that isn't "i want men and women to be equal, but women should have this major power over men in this situation" It just goes in circles. Thats why I don't argue with people of that nature, because at the end of the day i'll be frustrated and they'll still be retarded and crazy.that is from those who support abortion. for those who don't, the quest for equality is simple.[Edited on December 6, 2006 at 11:01 AM.
