They had no business based on the records coming into today. No one can really say who is the better team, that's why they play games. Based on the numbers coming in, USC was *more likely* to be the better team. Not 100% better. I stand by my statement, based on the numbers coming in, Michigan had no business playing in the championship. I still don't think they belong there to be honest.[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 7:50 PM. Reason : ,]
12/2/2006 7:49:52 PM
tmmercer makes little sense
12/2/2006 7:52:04 PM
this is looking possible
12/2/2006 7:52:31 PM
^^yeah thats what i would say to if i got pwned
12/2/2006 7:52:58 PM
kjust bc usc lost doesnt change the fact michigans schedule was worsehere comes the florida jump
12/2/2006 7:53:46 PM
florida's a joke too IMO, bcs playoffs please
12/2/2006 7:56:27 PM
that doesnt change the fact that usc lost to 2 unranked teams...and michigan lost to the number 1 bcs team
12/2/2006 7:56:36 PM
And I'm willing to bet that florida gets their asses kicked in glendale.
12/2/2006 7:57:30 PM
florida is not a good team, and neither is usc (who just "proved" it). michigan has played better than any of them and almost beat the #1 team in their own house. like it or not, michigan should be #2
12/2/2006 7:58:37 PM
im waiting to hear a reason why florida isnt good.[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 7:59 PM. Reason : UM is quite good, no doubt, but their schedule isnt as impressive]
12/2/2006 7:59:13 PM
fuck this. put Boise State in the championship game.
12/2/2006 7:59:46 PM
There really shouldn't be a bowl for the national championship, either have a playoffs or declare the buckeyes champions
12/2/2006 8:00:06 PM
^^ that would be...interesting
12/2/2006 8:00:29 PM
Now they most certainly do deserve it..V I don't think they suck but Michigan should be in over them IMO.. I don't think UF makes the jump.[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 8:02 PM. Reason : x]
12/2/2006 8:01:19 PM
does florida have a shotjesus christ i hope notthey suck dick
12/2/2006 8:01:49 PM
sure do, having one of the top defesnes in the country and being 11-1 losing against auburn at auburn. they might as well just not go to a bowl they are so terrible.
12/2/2006 8:02:53 PM
florida had 4 games in the 2nd half of the season that were way closer than they should have been.
12/2/2006 8:03:48 PM
if it makes you feel better they beat western carolina by 62
12/2/2006 8:04:40 PM
...and barely getting by usc and fsui hope uf does make it to the national championshiposu will fucking murder them and i'll be vindicated
12/2/2006 8:05:21 PM
i'd rather see wisconsin take on tOSU again[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 8:10 PM. Reason : whoops]
12/2/2006 8:06:36 PM
ohio state may actually see a defense this year if they play florida...granted i dont know how well floridas offense can do against osu
12/2/2006 8:07:26 PM
florida deserves as much as USC ever did...the media went ahead and crowned USC but USC is who we thought they were!!!!!Michigan still deserves it though just like they always did because they are clearly the second best team in the nation, so what if they have already played, i mean i have never seen a team not be allowed to play in a championship game just because they were suppose to play a team that already beat them in the regular season
12/2/2006 8:08:02 PM
12/2/2006 8:08:40 PM
michigan's defense is just as good as florida's
12/2/2006 8:09:02 PM
at least if it happens and big blue goesflorida isn't getting screwed over by a team that lost to OSU (where the O = fucking Oregon)[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 8:09 PM. Reason : ^bulllllshit and you know it]
12/2/2006 8:09:18 PM
wisconsin didnt even play ohio state
12/2/2006 8:09:48 PM
So when Michigan beats OSU in the title game, what exactly does it prove?
12/2/2006 8:10:38 PM
hah. maybe the hogs will beat florida tonight and this will be a moot point.
12/2/2006 8:10:52 PM
I hope this game doesn't matter, since USC lost it has to be OSU-michigan sadly
12/2/2006 8:10:58 PM
12/2/2006 8:11:05 PM
Look at the teams they play. Florida has a better defense. Michigan is the better team.Florida really isn't a factor at this point. They needed to win and win big. They aren't going to win big. It's UM-tOSU without a doubt..V really? Well, UF will likely be 2 in the computers but I can't see the humans putting them over UM in either of the polls.. I just don't see it happening personally. I'd like it to because frankly I'm sick of SOME of the Michigan fans on here..[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 8:13 PM. Reason : x]
12/2/2006 8:11:49 PM
^ I disagree, I think if Florida wins period they are in
12/2/2006 8:12:20 PM
yeaharkansas is ninth in the bcs, i thought they were higheruf has no chancego blue
12/2/2006 8:12:55 PM
12/2/2006 8:13:31 PM
if nym said it, it must be truewe're splitting hairs here, they both have good fucking defenses
12/2/2006 8:14:09 PM
lolTHE OPINION OF ONE WOLF WEBBER IS MORE QUOTABLE THAN THE OPINION OF ANOTHERI SHOULD TOTALLY CHANGE MY OPINION BECAUSE OF SOMETHING ONE OF YOU SAID RATHER THAN USE WHAT SOMEONE ELSE SAID TO VERIFY WHAT I BELIEVEYOU SIR, HAVE BESTED ME AT THE WOLF WEB TODAYit must be because i'm rusty, i don't come round here near as much as i used to
12/2/2006 8:15:58 PM
if florida wins, they should be inbut who knowsnevermind whos ranked where and when and ask yourself one simple questionwhat has michigan done that florida hasnt?[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 8:17 PM. Reason : d]

12/2/2006 8:19:55 PM
UF, Michigan, who cares. At the end of the day the Buckeyes will be holding the national championship and the heisman trophy
12/2/2006 8:21:14 PM
has the trio of umich, osu, and wisconsin has played more than 2 teams that are still ranked, not counting each other? i can only think of notre dame and texasam i missing anybody?
12/2/2006 8:24:25 PM
haha. I believe that meechigan paid UCLA and Arkansas to help them out.

12/2/2006 8:31:16 PM
i dunno, in my mind the first OSU/UM game was the national championshipi don't see OSU or Michigan losing to anyone other than OSU or Michigana close loss to the no.1 team is much more respectable[Edited on December 2, 2006 at 8:34 PM. Reason : ^exactly, doesnt matter if they had a weak sched, they dominated completely...]
