no I am not... he was a pro bowler for one year, mainly because of return skills. Lots of people make it based on return yards who wouldnt be deemed "great" overall players

just a question here, cause I haven't really gotten to see Mario that much this year:

Do the Texans always move him around on the line from play to play? What are the benefits of moving him around?

I heard on ESPN that they stopped putting him in at tackle and he is looking a lot better. But they are still shifting him from right end to left end on obvious passing downs.

so what is the point?

are they not sure which end he's best at? is he just their best defensive player and they need him all over the place? it just doesn't make that much sense to me.

why not leave him at one end and let him perfect his technique from one side?

If you're coming from the same place every time, then the offense can easily game-plan against that.

yeah but he doesn't do shit coming from tackle and hasn't looked comfortable at all. you don't see the panthers do this with peppers. they just let him dominate where he plays naturally.

Because the Panthers D-line is stacked. You send two or three guys after Peppers, and someone else gets through. So you adjust back to cover them, and suddenly Peppers is free again.

Yeah,he doesn't have great numbers but I get the game out here and he is doing a good job.. they were running right at him at the start and he did a good job making first contact and knocking Jones back..

being a huge state and panthers fan I still think it is truly funny that people are still trying to compare my boy mario to julius peppers. try to think a little bit.
