just kidding

Does anyone think the Tigers are going to the playoffs still?I just don't see it. Even without Liriano/Radke the Twins are rolling..A's are my trendy choice for AL champs...
9/13/2006 11:43:50 PM
ignorantthree fifths of the al central are dynamite teams
9/13/2006 11:55:23 PM
It's not ignorant. I didn't say they are the favorites.. just the trendy pick.Especially with Harden throwing simulated games and coming back soon. Obviously he'll have to be on a pitch count to start but if they have a healthy Harden back for the playoffs they have every bit as good a rotation as the Tigers..[Edited on September 13, 2006 at 11:59 PM. I just heard a report from WFAN saying Liriano has some UCL damage, which likely means Tommy John surgery is next... Say goodbye to 2007 if that's the case.. I hope it's not a tear but sounds like it may be.
9/14/2006 1:14:41 AM
that's A-OK by me
9/14/2006 1:20:23 AM
entire 2007 season? maybe im optimistic but its gotta be too early to tell if he'd miss the next ~13 months

9/14/2006 6:10:32 PM
Boof Bonser 4 President^^ps they said he wouldnt need Tommy John surgery and that the diagnosis was basically like it was a month or two ago...some ripped tendons or whatnot]
9/14/2006 6:11:59 PM
that's good to hear, I don't like the twins but I like good pitchers
9/14/2006 6:17:36 PM
I'm glad for him. Good news.I hate to see that happen. Unfortnately it happened to the Mets #3 overall from 2004 Phillip Humber (taken right after Justin Verlander). He just pitched in AA for the first time this season. He is on the ML roster now but he probably would've been in the rotation already if not for the UCL damage..
9/14/2006 6:43:22 PM
the twins should trade him for prospects. he sounds like he's on his way to a crippled career.literally.
9/14/2006 7:03:28 PM
FUCK all these 2 days stretches where DET, MIN and CHI all go 1-1
9/16/2006 3:22:35 PM
