jesus christmost of you people are idiots, but its funny
9/2/2006 11:32:22 PM
^^^ Georgia Tech's stupidity. Good teams take advantage of stupidity and breaks...^ looks like people will be hating all year... AGAIN.[Edited on September 2, 2006 at 11:34 PM. Reason : well overzealousness... maybe not stupidty]
9/2/2006 11:32:36 PM
good thing I took the hedge bet (ND -6 at half)
9/2/2006 11:32:52 PM
fantastic effort from GTgod damnit, time to head back to south bend and get the crowd on our side
9/2/2006 11:34:04 PM
classic GT - not using their awesome receiver
9/2/2006 11:36:34 PM
Notre Dame is a good team, but I don't think they are #2, and I don't think they can win a national championship. They weren't tested enough last year, and every good team they played beat them.Funny that corso's "best offense ever" only scored 14 against a mid tier ACC team. Wonder how they would do against a team like Ohio State.......
9/2/2006 11:37:20 PM
its not their fault michigan and tennessee bullshitted
9/2/2006 11:38:37 PM
9/3/2006 1:40:37 AM
i think that the bigger issue is why, a quarterback who has declared himself to be a runner (by crossing the line of scrimmage with the ball in his possession) should also not be allowed to be hit in the head with a helmet. FUCK these pussy ass rules
9/3/2006 3:16:34 AM
well thats a different discussion for a different dayto be fair...I dont think its pussy at all, helmet to helmet hits are extremely fucking dangerous and completely unnecessary[Edited on September 3, 2006 at 11:09 AM. Reason : e]
9/3/2006 11:07:40 AM
I hate it when it happens like it did last nighttwo guys going towards each other, one at the last moment crouches and lowers his head...at that instant the tackler and him hit helmets...its gonna happen, thats just how it is.
9/3/2006 11:13:06 AM
didn't look like he was trying to go helmet to helmet, but he didgood call
9/3/2006 3:41:13 PM
Charlie Weis has 6 months to gameplan for 1 wide receiver and the best he can do is 14-10?
9/5/2006 12:05:49 PM
they actually played a football team, not just a receiverand its not even really possible to defend that said receiver. GT was also preparing that whole time too by the way.
9/5/2006 12:15:43 PM
is that your way of tactfully admitting that notre dame is not a national championship teambtw ask nc state if its possible to defend that receiver...i think garland heath and perhaps somebody else...ask them]
9/5/2006 12:26:16 PM
Yeah, we sure stopped him! Only 10 catches for 130 yards and a TD!
9/5/2006 1:40:42 PM
lolit was my way of responding to an absolutely worthless post, nothing more and nothing else
9/5/2006 1:43:54 PM
I didnt get to see any of this game, was in a drunken stupor by then and not near a TV.
9/5/2006 1:45:15 PM
Yea, I think we can assume a L in that game
9/5/2006 1:45:51 PM
you didnt miss a whole lot
9/5/2006 1:46:07 PM
thats what it looked like. I saw Brady "Flash" Quinn run in for a TD and I looked away and started chugging Jager and didnt see anything after that
9/5/2006 1:47:46 PM
its not like johnson lit ND up either. 111 yards and a td is a good game...but he will have far better. and you can't hate on a defense that only gives up 10 points in the entire game. you can't ask for more out of a D than that. ND's offense will have much better days. but it was the season opener and on the road in a hostile environment against a good team. good win.
9/5/2006 1:47:48 PM
^ Yeah, thats pretty much >.<
9/5/2006 1:49:02 PM
USC is gonna whoop Notre Dame worse than last year
9/5/2006 1:54:01 PM
Well now you went from having a conversation to just trolling.. oh well.V because clearly you can tell everything about a season from one game. ND will be the same exact team in late November, just as USC will[Edited on September 5, 2006 at 1:58 PM. Reason : x]
9/5/2006 1:55:09 PM
now i'm trolling by pointing out to you that USC looked much better than Notre Dame on Saturday?and i would say Arkansas and Georgia Tech are about even^ Just because you lead the nation in national titles and almost beat USC last year with Bush and Leinhart doesnt mean you reload like USC does...also Pete Carroll > Charlie Weis]
9/5/2006 1:55:53 PM
9/5/2006 2:08:53 PM
It pains me to agree with Phishntard, but Arkansas is no where NEAR GTmeant GT[Edited on September 5, 2006 at 2:10 PM. Reason : d]
9/5/2006 2:10:14 PM
i take it you're saying georgia tech is much better than arkansas? a mediocre ACC team much better than a mediocre SEC team, eh? you're buying the georgia tech hype as well? k^arkansas is near GEORGIA TECH...not notre dame]
9/5/2006 2:10:28 PM
GT is a middle of the road ACC school, Arkansas is a shitty ass SEC school
9/5/2006 2:11:30 PM
georgia tech beats good teamsarkansas does notTHIS ARGUMENT IS FUCKING POINTLESS, why are you even in here
9/5/2006 2:12:04 PM
^^no...Kentucky is a shitty ass SEC schoolArkansas damn near beat LSU and Georgia last yearGeorgia Tech lost to NC State last year^so Georgia Tech surprises Auburn last year and all the sudden now they "beat good teams?"]
9/5/2006 2:13:22 PM
Kentucky is ALSO a shitty SEC school... along with Arkansas, and Vandy, and Miss State
9/5/2006 2:14:16 PM
i swear i hope he means alabama not Arkansas
9/5/2006 2:14:59 PM
georgia tech is nothing special...i guess you guys havent been watching acc football the last half dozen years if you buy into this georgia tech bullshit
9/5/2006 2:15:07 PM
9/5/2006 2:15:13 PM
so did carolinamiami is on the downslide...have been the last few yearsGeorgia Tech beats good teams]
9/5/2006 2:15:48 PM
its so irrelevant anywaythe game is over, ND won, move on
9/5/2006 2:17:22 PM
Arkansas is garbage, has been for the last 6-7 years. Nutt is gone after this year unless Mustain can generate a LOT of promise/hope
9/5/2006 2:17:29 PM
georgia tech is a perpetual 7-5 teamthey would be right on par with arkansas if they were in the sec^yall came to play saturday]
9/5/2006 2:18:21 PM
except GT beat Auburn, twiceand akransas beats the mississippi schools
9/5/2006 2:20:02 PM
^^ well, that may be true, but thats not what you said...I agree that IF GT was in the SEC their record would be lower than it is now, but they arent in the SECand yes, yes we did. We needed that, bad. It was just about the most amazing sight I have ever seen haha. A damn TN team actually playing at their talent level.[Edited on September 5, 2006 at 2:21 PM. Reason : d]
9/5/2006 2:20:34 PM
so chan gailey is one of the few people who can gameplan auburnthat doesnt mean that georgia tech is any better than arkansassorry for watching mad hours of college gameplan last year and seeing how beastly arkansas' defense wasUSC is just that good...I wouldnt be surprised if they won another national title this year^not what i said? have georgia tech play arkansas 10 times...it would either be 6-4, 5-5, 4-6]
9/5/2006 2:21:08 PM
I know a ton about arkansasthey suckbut im glad you were able to watch them a lot, congrats!
9/5/2006 2:23:44 PM
georgia tech sucks also...they are 0-1 like arkansas, and arkansas lost to a much better teami can play this game too]
9/5/2006 2:24:43 PM
you arent playing any gamelol at much better team
9/5/2006 2:26:17 PM
lol at georgia tech being anything more than a mediocre acc teamlol at notre dame's "unstoppable offense"
9/5/2006 2:28:27 PM
they won the football game/thread
9/5/2006 2:29:02 PM
/fair enoughgo wolfpack
9/5/2006 2:29:22 PM
