Painted my new garage floor yesterday with that paint. Looks pretty good. I know its not as durable as the epoxy stuff, but all I really need is to keep the oil from staining the floor, and this will do that.
8/2/2006 9:23:22 AM
i didnt think sailboats leaked oil
8/2/2006 4:43:03 PM
Post more pics.
8/2/2006 4:48:28 PM

8/10/2006 11:16:58 PM
As long as yer not poundin' adult asses (or young asses for that matter)...I'm gonna go ahead and crash the fork out. I'm tired as fuckin' shit.
8/10/2006 11:19:43 PM
you definantly should have pounded our waitress last night dan she was wanted it we all could tell
8/11/2006 3:36:35 AM
progress
8/11/2006 6:33:53 PM
this seems like a pretty cool project you have going here...two questions:how long do you think until you complete the garage? I ask cause it looks like it is really slow going...how much money are you guys budgeting on this bad boy? or how much is it going to cost when all is said and done?
8/11/2006 10:55:57 PM
^it's slow enough to build such a structure and do it "right" even when it's your profession (~30 days being stick built giving it a few hours a day, or a couple full days a week), much less working just a few hours a week and not having honed skills of the trade from doing it day in/day out.
8/11/2006 11:06:32 PM
it's going slow because we're laying blocks around 3 or 4 hrs at night when we can spare the time. we'll be laying em tomorrow for awhile and try to knock out the rest of the wall. and we've budgeted right around 12 grand for materials. i think i said that before, but maybe not. and yes, as BigBlueRam said it is a little bit harder than it looks, but it will be wayyyyy worth it when we're done.on that note, kegger tomorrow night. come on out. pm me for my address/directions [Edited on August 12, 2006 at 12:00 AM. Reason : .]
8/11/2006 11:59:26 PM
layin' blocks all day longgggggggg
8/12/2006 11:47:44 AM
I'm gonna have to declare uncle on the paint based shit. Its crap. First time the woman fucking turned her wheel without moving there were black streaks everywhere.
8/12/2006 4:07:25 PM
we got a lot done today, hopefully all the blocks will be layed by tomorrow night, had to knock off early today to clean up for the party
8/12/2006 9:09:02 PM
we cut concretewe mix mortarwe lay blocksanother shot, we actually have a lot more than this done now, i'll get another pic later(we're up to the 4th row until right before the corner, and the long wall almost all of thefirst level of blocks are laid
8/12/2006 9:26:38 PM
alright, lunch then finishing this damn wall. then we're gonna pour the slab. any of you fuckers wanna help us when we pour it?
8/13/2006 4:49:38 PM
fuck i think i missed the party[Edited on August 13, 2006 at 5:01 PM. Reason : .]
8/13/2006 4:59:49 PM
yup, you sure did
8/13/2006 5:39:55 PM
you mixing your own concrete for the slab?
8/13/2006 5:42:19 PM
They'd be tards for mixing that much concrete.
8/13/2006 5:57:16 PM
i'd think so too . . . but I wouldn't have thought the cement company would deliver on sunday
8/13/2006 7:36:02 PM
^ Concrete is poured for the slab, Motar is used for the block. Everyone mixes their own motar. For more than 1 yd of concrete it doesn;t make sense to try and mix your own concrete, time or money wise
8/13/2006 8:20:12 PM
^^^^^ igor just got back from mexico today, otherwise we would have came for sure[Edited on August 13, 2006 at 9:21 PM. Reason : .]
8/13/2006 9:21:21 PM
Guys, ya'll aren't planning on leaving that loose dirt inside the foundation are you?
8/13/2006 9:27:32 PM
^ nope. we're hauling in about 25 tons of fill dirt if i'm correct. keith knows the exact numbers, then hauling in gravel, compacting it all and then pouring. we're going to get all the shit inside out, you wouldn't believe how much crap is/was in the ground.oh, and we finished the wall tonight YAYYYYYYYYYYYY excuse the poor shots bc it's dark[Edited on August 13, 2006 at 10:30 PM. Reason : pix]
8/13/2006 10:15:19 PM
god damn that was a lot of work this weekend
8/13/2006 10:23:00 PM
that's the DAMN truth, it was worth it tho
8/13/2006 10:30:59 PM
8/13/2006 10:52:16 PM
sorry, that sentence was deceiving. I meant later when we pour the slab would anyone like to help. Not today, the slab pouring is at least a coupld of weeks away.
8/13/2006 10:57:01 PM

8/13/2006 11:10:07 PM
8/14/2006 9:00:19 AM
Do half the garage at a time, if your help and skill level is limited. Makes it a lot easier to work the slab and have enough time before it sets up on you. Especially if you are doing it before you frame it inand the suns beating down on it. And then you can do the other side another weekend. As for the wire mesh, I always get the readymix with the fiber renforced concrete for slabs, a lot easier to work with than the wire mesh.
8/14/2006 2:12:48 PM
getting both, fiber reinforced with retarder, shouldnt be that hot when we pour and that will makeit workable even longer, and i plan on unloading the first truck around 3, the second aroun 3:45, and working it into the evening with the power trowel
8/14/2006 5:50:47 PM
8/14/2006 8:45:16 PM
so where is this shit at now?
8/27/2006 12:43:42 AM
it's chillin , we're ordering fill dirt and gravel on monday, then grading, after that pouring the slab and then framing a bitch.
8/27/2006 12:44:41 AM
if u need some help let a nigger know!
8/27/2006 12:58:55 AM
If we can muster up some titties, I'd be glad to help.
8/27/2006 6:33:02 AM

9/6/2006 4:09:33 PM
