southern states nissan is just as bad. They've fucked me over one time too many.

I've also heard Southern States VW service dept sucks bad. I did buy my car through them because they were able to track down a Red Pkg #2 for me in VA (just got it today), but I will not be servicing it with them. I'm probably going to do the regular maintainance stuff myself and will let Leith do any warranty work. For non-warranty stuff that I'm too scared to tackle, I'm going to use Chris Dale @ Import Auto Werks on Millbrook. He's been pretty well regarded on the TDI forums.

i used to hate southern states and love leith since they would do stuff for my modded car

then one day they told me that they wouldnt cover a single thing on my car under warranty (not even cosmetic stuff) and to never come back.

went over to southern states, told them what leith told me, and theyve been great to me ever since.

well when you call the dealer & say "hey i have software & a turbo back exhaust, will you guys still do warranty work for me?" you're pretty much asking for it.
