The Wii will play gamecube games, so it'll work on it, and there have been some rumors that twilight princess will release on both systems. It could easily be a Wii launch title.

this new fps isnt revolutionary, its a damn next gen light gun game...with a few updates

^^ the FPS only showed the controller itself had tilt sensors in it.

the new development is that the nunchuk will also feature one.

In the madden example, the analog stick on the nunchuck is used to run. You can jerk it left or right to juke, and tilt/motion the controller for a stiff arm.

I mean you could buy it without the games. Or buy it used. Or buy 4 new games. Games will probably be $60 like they are with the 360.

So, $240 for a Wii and 4 games; $150? for the system and no games; or $120 used and no games. Just a guess. I probably overlooked some loophole in this logic.

I was thinking about this the other day, and assuming the buy 4 games get the system thing is true, would you still buy one game at a time, or would you wait until there were 4 games you wanted and then buy all of them at once to get another free console. I can honestly see myself getting 4 games +1 system at launch and then waiting until there were another 4 I wanted and getting another system for another room/ebay/whatever.

I just haven't heard anything that is really different. I mea, I'm excited about how the controller will work in the party type games and some sports games (where this sort of interation is pretty rare), but in terms of an FPS it really seems like the same old hat.

Wasn't referring to that. Heck, I have a Logitech Wingman Gamepad Extreme that could do the same for several years now. There are a number of games to be excited about but the FPS just is not one of them from what I've seen so far.

and of course you cant forget the cool names for the accessories like "the Wii-mote" and the fact that it comes with built-in "Wii-fi"
