WTF were the Devils thinking letting him go? If they do that mess with Patrick Elias in July I will NEVER hear the end of it from Stein when the Devils start sucking as much as the Rangers do.

Wait, are these your picks from before the playoffs started, or you making them now and STILL taking Carolina, New York, and Philadelphia?

Flyers game was WILD.

Esche was getting picked apart, then Forsberg tried to knee Roy in the face and when Roy tried to go with Forsberg, Esche skated over and attacked him in full gear.

Just read that Primeau might try to come back to play in either Game 3 or Game 4.

These picks are based in part of what happened following last Tuesday's games. Since everybody's two games in, it'd be too late to even think about changing my picks. Not to mention, the Devils have never won a postseason series against the Blueshirts. Ditto, Dallas vs Detroit.

ottawa beat TB 8-4

the rule changes were meant to only slightly increase goals per game. this is fucking too much.

it looks like the avg. number of goals thus far in the playoffs is 6-7 per game. Last year i am guessing it was 3-4.

Calgary 2, Anaheim 1
San Jose 2, Nashville 1

Ottawa 2, Tampa Bay 1

Can you think of anything that is making NBC and OLN sweat more than the following:

Ottawa leading series over Tampa 3-1
Edmonton leading series over Detroit 2-1 and leading game 4
Calgary leading series over Anaheim 2-1
Montreal leading series over Carolina 2-1
And the Rangers look to be swept

Yeah, if everything stayed to form (team leading the series currently wins), the Final 8 would look like:

Ottawa v. Montreal
New Jersey v. Buffalo

Calgary v. Edmonton
San Jose v. Colorado

Pronger just knocked Cleary into the air so he hit the boards horizontally...and then Zetterberg scored on the PP rush.

Eh, not so much. With guys like Lemieux and McCarty gone, it's really cooled down.

When did the Sens' stadium change names? It was the Corel Centre when I was there a couple of summers ago...

They signed the deal with Scotiabank in January. I don't know if the Corel deal just expired mid-season, or it just didn't have a sponsor for the first part of the season.

No.

Jersey has been insane this month.

Yes, they've won 15 games in a row, but if they hadn't come on so strong at the end of the season they could've easily finished out of the playoffs.
