CET Dental Rewards recently came out and are much more digestable.

I feel sad for the Greenies people though. Maybe they will come out with a better product.

Good, my dog would always just slobber on the CET Chews for a bit then swallow it whole once it got a tad soft. Haven't been able to give her any chew time treats for a while.

^ my dogs do the same. i've stopped giving them those

i just stuff the hard femur bones with cheese, soft food food, sugar free peanut butter, or eventhe kong stuffin and freeze them.
keeps my dgs (all 6 of them) busy for awhile and i dont worry about them swallowing something and getting it lodged in their throat or GI tract

plus its cheaper.

Hmm, I give my chins greenies and have never had a problem, but it's not like it's going to get lodged anywhere in them. I'm more concerned about it messing up their little digestion systems.

from what the virbac rep (people who make cet stuff) said, the greenie pieces can clump up together in the stomach

its a fucking dog

it most likely eats its own turds when you're not around

i wouldn't be too worried about synthetic vitamins or preservatives

(not meant to be insulting to those who want to feed their pets a healthy food but to those who go to the extreme searching for a more organic and natural food alternative for an animal that likes to the taste of ass)

When I rescued my pup I decided to start feeding her Nutro Ultra, Puppy. After a month on that food, she had perked up a bit, but she was having some major stomach issues. I've since changed to a combo of Wellness Super5Mix (Puppy) and Solid Gold Hundchen Flocken...her coat looks absolutely amazing, she has stopped itching, and has an amazing amount of energy. She's a happy girl, and I think part of it has to do with the quality of food she is consuming. If I had the time and money I'd have her on a raw diet...but unfortunately I don't. There is so much crap in the grocery store brands, so I'm trying to put her on the healthiest kibble I can (that is still readily available in my area). Also, another comment on the dry foods...some dogs just can't eat the premium foods b/c they are too rich. You just have to find what works for your pup. I don't mind paying a little more for my pup's food, but that's just me.

Sorry this didn't have much to do with the original post
