I don't know if something along these lines have been said but I was once like you.I was 6'2" and weighed about 155 give or take 5 lbs. The best advice and what worked for me.....Wait about 6 to 8 years. I promise you'll start to gain weight. I weigh about 180 now. Granted it's not muscle mass.
