If you were not trying to be SO smart, you would have noticed that I mentioned tea.

As a PPS. Way to go.This thread isn't about your soda addiction.[Edited on June 22, 2006 at 11:20 AM. Reason : .]

Concerning your reference to an addiction, Tahitian Treat does not contain caffeine. So, I don't know what you're referring to.Perhaps you are addicted to correcting people and trying to sound smart on the Web. It's just a thought.

my roommate's been making tea regularly this week or so, and i think i finally found something i <3. it's basic, but i had never had earl grey before. she made a few bags of earl gray, a few of P&G tips, basic black tea, and it was really good iced.i guess i like tea that's a little more fruity or floral. p&g by itself is a bit intense for me. and she made some green tea yesterday. it was okay, but i think the earl grey is my fave atm. i love the bergamot flavor.

^^I said you had a soda addiction, not a caffeine addiction. Soda merely requires syrup, water and some carbonation.I'm not trying to sound smart; I'm trying to explain to you how stupid you sound.^ Finally, back to the topic at hand.[Edited on June 23, 2006 at 5:45 PM. Reason : .]

To EverPimento: Sorry I did not reply sooner. I have a life that involves more than arguing with anonymous people on the Internet about trivial matters.Apparently, you are able to read--since you listed some of the obvious ingredients on soda labels ("Soda merely requires syrup, water and some carbonation"). Thanks for the unnecessary information.Again, as to your comment about addiction, I was not aware that our country was in the grip of syrup-water-carbonation addictions. Do you have any proof of such addictions? In any event, as I posted before, I LOVE SWEET ICED TEA! I would drink it most of the time, except, as I pointed out, tea is not made to a consistent flavor at most restaurants. In addition, during the fall and winter months, I enjoy an occasional cup of hot chamomile tea, sweetened with a little honey and some cream. So there!

Plain oolong, black, or green for me. That barley & green stuff fancy Asian places seem to have all the time is pretty good too.I'll splurge on Thai or chai fairly often.
