cdubya...how much for the RSMs? what are they made out of?^^^^ yeah the M badge is coming off soon. I really liked it when it was new but it's starting to chip and look like crap. I kinda liked how it resembled the E30 M3, plus the trunk is debadged. [Edited on March 30, 2006 at 9:49 AM. Reason : .]

Kevin is the guy at MM. does a real good job.did you swap strut mounts? its the ticket for free neg camber up front. or do you have camber plates?
3/30/2006 10:24:59 AM
Kevin, that's right.I did swap strut mounts and my k-mac camber plates over from my stock setup. So that should help in terms of adjustability.
3/30/2006 10:26:39 AM
NICE MAN!!! i want to get a ride after you get the alignment. i'd like to see how it feels on the street. I'm going to pass on the RSMs for now...thanks though. i replaced mine over a year ago w/ the e46 RSMs and the Z3 reinforcement plate on top and bottom. they seem to be holding out ok.

who cares. blah blah blah M3, blah blah blah BMW ownz blah blah. Im so tired of hearing about BMWs and M3s. That 05 GT on the first page would ream these M3s.
4/3/2006 3:03:37 PM
not mine. I don't even have a m3 and I'll call you out to a drag race, I have a i6 and you have a v8.[Edited on April 3, 2006 at 3:18 PM. Reason : cuz i can]

because I dont Auto-X, thats why no suspension, and Im not going to lie, yes my car is slow, I would probably lose to a good number of people up here, but at least I admit it instead of going around acting like a jackass that has the most badass car ever, and swinging from the nuts of BMWs and those who drive them. And cdubya, last I checked I wasnt sucking my own dick, in fact I got laid last night, how about yourself?
4/3/2006 8:41:32 PM
not one person in this thread is "acting like a jackass that has the most badass car ever". if you're going to contribute to the thread topic at hand, please do. if not, quit trolling.[Edited on April 3, 2006 at 8:58 PM. Reason : .]

Yeah, but the thing is, BMWs are more about precision/handling, crispness and all that comes with having a well engineered chasis/suspension, etc. You can't really make a Mustang handle like an M3, and you certainly can't make one have as good a ride to handling tradeoff as an M3...Ahmet[Edited on April 3, 2006 at 10:08 PM. So I think what we're trying to say here is......go fuck yourself.Look, dude, I've been there. I had the RWD behemoth, I've had the 4 cyl FWD, I've had auto, stick, yadda yadda, just like most people on this board. This thread was not created as a BMW brag session; there's a reason these cars are as well-respected, highly-priced, and renowned as they are - they're good cars. End of story. Sure, there will always be the 911 down the street, the 03 KB'd cobra next door, and the 06 Z06 your dad's friend Bill has. Oh, and bt dub, I'll race ya That is, assuming you've got nothing more than it appears... Mike

haha, people make me crack up . . . I thought flaming each other on a forum ended in high school! (Before someone tries to be cool and say my car isn't fast, I ALREADY KNOW THAT)
4/4/2006 1:52:56 AM
Well, so part of it is that there are less BMW turbo kits that get purchased than there are Mustang kits, so there's economies of scale at play. But there are also other factors, forexample someone may need a higher level of craftsmanship, better response/drivability, durability and longetivity, in short, quality from an accessory for a BMW to be satisfied than the average Ford owner... Kind of like what they wanted from the car to begin with eh?Ahmet
4/4/2006 3:23:46 AM
Dane, I'm coming for you......not sure what I'll do when I get there; maybe hope the supra starts pushing out oil again Mike
4/4/2006 8:37:35 AM
Mike...so did you trade the red M coupe for the blue one?
4/4/2006 9:33:06 AM
4/4/2006 9:59:07 AM
^^ I didn't have an M Coupe previously (the aforementioned red one...). Although, I'd love to have one. There is a guy aroudn here, I think his name is Scott, who's selling one. It's posted over on NC Euro. But I've had this car since I got rid of the T/A. Mike
