The 2 lights on centennial prkwy to turn left onto campus never pick up my bike. I just make a stop, check to see if there's a car behind me getting into the turn lane, and go through the light if not. I'd say about 1/3 of lights that I normally encounter give me trouble.

theres a device you can buy to solve that, its a magnet that attaches to trip the sensors.[Edited on December 7, 2005 at 12:02 PM. Reason : http://www.signalsorcerer.com/order_now.html]

does it pick up nails and hidden dubloons?

it'd be a lot cooler if it did.

i hate western ave. cause those left turn lights never pick up bikes going into campus. If no cars are in the turn lanes, I end up going all the way down to pullen and then make a big U going from east to west campus.

just run it

cept its always cars on coming and never stops. you know how busy western is.

The worst is when you pull up forward of the line so that the car behind you can move up and trip the light and they just sit there like a dumbass. I always come up Hillsborough now because Dan Allen sucks, so I don't deal with those lights anymore.

yea light triggers have nothing do with weight.that would require the road to move when a car went over it. besides, if weight did trigger it, i'm sure they wouldnt design it so that a bike couldnt trigger it.http://auto.howstuffworks.com/question234.htm[Edited on December 7, 2005 at 7:26 PM.
